I'm sooooooo excited!!! My husband and I were at Home Depot today and decided to check out their shelving units..I found two that I think will work great for the space we're using to start our stockpile. We're only starting with one wall that is about 82" wide and 80" inches tall. Right now I have things stored in our guest room on the floor (no food items, just HBA and laundry stuff) and our kitchen pantry (small) is packed to the gills. My plan is to regain the use of my guest room and get this stockipling thing together. When it's haphazardly stored like this, it feels like it's out of control. Hopefully, I'll be able to have the shelving up in the next couple of weeks and post pics of my beginner stockpile!!

My husband asked me what I want for my birthday in a few weeks and I told him I wanted more shelving for our stockpile. One set would be great (don't want to appear greedy!) but I'd love two. Perhaps I'll buy one set myself. I really need shelving because I'm running out of room right now!

Luckily my house has a storage room w/ shelving. I thought it would be more than enough room, but Ive quickly learned that its not even close to enough. This weekend my husband & I are building more shelving. Its funny that Im sooo excited about shelves. LOL

My husband had professionally built shelves put in the garage. He also did a custom made paper towel and tissue box holder next to them. LOVE IT. On the other side of garage, we have white cabinets with doors to hide stuff too (got at Home Depot- pricey, but worth it)
