Need help w/storing razors

I'm pretty new at stockpiling women's razors. (I've been working my way through a box of disposables I bought at BJ's a year ago.) So now I only have about 6 - Intuition, Quattro, Venus, etc - but they take up so much space! The plastic packaging is so bulky. If I take them out of the packaging, will the moisture strips dry up? I'm sure I could fit everything into a plastic shoe-box size container w/out all of the plastic packaging. Thanks for any help!

Have you thought about getting a peg board and hang them up. You can get peg board at Menards, Fleet Farm and so forth. I believe an 8x8 sheet is around $10 and can cut it to fit your needs.

I have one for stockpiling and one for crafts.

They shouldn't mess up or dry out because when you buy just the blades they are out of the package when you use the first one. Go ahead and make room for more.

I take all of my husbands out of the packages because the male razor free deals are so much more common which is good because he has to shave atleast once per day (and has VERY thick and coarse hair) so he goes through them like crazy. And he has sensitive skin and can only use the "good" (read expensive) razors. I take them all out of the packaging and put them in bins. My problem is, it is usually the starter systems (not the refills) that are free after sales so I don't know what to do with the extra holders and handles. I feel horrible "ungreen" throwing them out but he obviously doesn't need more than one of each type (ie: fusion, mach 3, quattro). If anybody thinks of something to do with them please share.

I just use a good quality freezer bag (like ziplock) and make sure all of the air is out. That's about as good as any other packaging

Another place to consider donating them is to a Pregnancy Care Center if there is one in your area. I know they say mens, but believe me the girls won't mind. I used a local pregnancy care center a ton when I was pregnant with my first and they helped out with everything! Most people forget to donate items for mom too, thinking just of baby stuff.

I take mine out of the package and put them into a plastic "shoe box" thing. I haven't had any trouble with them in the last couple years.

I use the Rubbermaid plastic storage bins. You can get so many different sizes to fit what you need. I label them womens' razors/ mens' etc.

I do this also with my toothbrushes/floss/ etc.

My husband had professionally built shelving done in the garage so its really convenient to just go out there see what is in what bin and pull it down to get whatever I need.
