I've been thinking about putting together some b-day presents from the great items I'm getting from couponing. The problem is, how in the world do I keep this stuff organized? What do you do? Right now, it's all on my table, separated into deodorants, razors, shampoos, etc. I want to donate quite a bit, but keeping some for gifts is very appealing to me. There's some nice stuff here. Can there be a method to my madness, ?

If you have enough stuff I would do a basket! Like a "spa" themed one if you have some candles, with body wash bubbles...you know whatever!

| Gifting
I regularly give away items from my stockpile to college students who attend my church. I could easily make up a nice gift basket (Christmas, birthday, moving, new baby) from my stockpile. I keep it all in cabinets in my basement for my family use, but I could pick and choose gift items for many occasions. That's why I buy diapers, wipes, etc. for babies...I have 8 children of my own, and my youngest is 9, but there are lots of friends having babies. If you have very limited space but know you want to make up a specific gift basket, you could keep the intended items in a clear plastic shoe box or a castoff cardboard box until you have all the items you want. That would keep them together as well as keep family members from using them accidentally. Buy a basket at a thrift store...that's one thing that there are usually lots of at those stores. ~Joan |

I constantly give from my stockpile. Yesterday I "paid" a 23 year old to get my vegetable garden ready for me, back breaking work!!!!---and I paid with a couple of bags of razors, toothbrushes, food, etc...that hardly cost me a thing. But, if he would have tried to go to the store and buy it all, it would have cost at least $50---which is more then I could have paid him for his work. Gift baskets galore for friends and baby showers.

I also have made mutiple gift baskets from my stockpile...mostly bath ones, some food and coffee with clearance items like coffee cups, etc, in them. I also make up "godie bags" for friends and family full of bath and toiletry products when they come to visit. In todays economy they appreciate it so much!

I don't think I have any great ideas (other than perhaps housewarming and baby shower gift baskets), but I am interested too...this sounds like a great idea |

I usually theme them. Like a pp person said, spa package, baby package, starter stockpile for people that move into a new place. Many of my nieces love this, I always get them started with their first apts or houses!!!

Gifting from my stockpile is my favorite thing to do! I love sharing, and showing everyone how much they can save, and even get for free by using coupons and AFC.
