| school supplies?
I was going through some old posts and saw one with a nice stockpile of school supplies that were free...??? how!?! Will there be coupons for such items and then just match them up with sales?

The way that I found to do is build up rewards (cvs extra bucks or Wags reward cert.) and buy the items when they are on clearance. Example: March rewards from Walgreens buy 8 Dove products get $10 rewards certifcate. Do this deal twice using man.q's on dove=$20 in rewards certificates Walgreens marked down lots of crayola products this month including 1. Crayola washable mini markers .50 cents 2. Disney glitter glue $1.29 3. Crayola 8 count crayons .20 cents 4. Crayola giant coloring disney books $1.69 5. Crayola colored pencils .65 cents There are lots more some things are not signed at all Walgreens I went to but rang up. So by using the $20 in rewards cert. you can accumulate alot of items at these prices. If you had even more certificates and went to multipal stores you could really have alot of items. There were a few coupons floating around Toysrus handed out a calendar at christmas with man q's in it. Wags had a coloring book w/ a coupon in it. In general they are few and far in between. Hope this helps.

I buy school supplies for pennies on the dollar at Target...about a week or two after the back to school shopping season is over. The two stores in my area generally 90-95% off

I got the majority of my school supplies at Rite Aid ONLY because they printed up a sheet of their own coupons and then they ran sales on those items which made them cheap or free. I think they realized after that they had made a mistake and didn't give out anymore q's. I was able to get about ten sheets of coupons before that and over a month's time got all the items I wanted. Target is also a great place to get school supplies after the mad rush is over. They want that space for other things so they clearance the school supplies out very quickly after the first or second week of school starts.

I normally shop at walmart but I also comp the 1 cent ads from staples at walmart also there were a few rebate this year where you buy pert and get 5.00 in school supplies free the pert was free at walgreens so I would buy 5.00 in school supplies there and then get the 5.00 worth back.

I used to use my overages to buy the things I didnt have the coupons for but also was once called some of the companys as I have seven kids to put through school and they would send us out backpacks stuffed with supplies.
