| Stockpile oop or free
I am new to stock piling and have very little, certainly nothing worthy of a pic. My question is do you pay for items in your stockpile or do you Free items as your stockpile. Just wondering, I'm new to it.

I do both. I seek out the one item at each store in my area that is discounted significantly that week and I've got a coupon(s). For example: This week at Superfresh, Lysol All Purpose cleaner spray is on sale 1/2 pr for $1.84 or less, depending on which kind you buy. I have 4 $1.00 off coupons. I'll get each for about .84 Kellogg's Nutri Grain Bars are half price as well - $1.94 each. Again, I have about 6 of the $1 off coupons - I'll stock up. My son likes these in the morning. For .94 each, it's a great price. A few months ago, I was at Harris Teeter and stumbled upon a display of 4 pack Cottonelle toilet paper on clearance because it had a snowflake holiday pattern on it.. Each was .94 . I had a handful of .50 off coupons - each doubled, so I got them all for free. I personally try to combine coupons with a steep discount in order to stockpile. Others seek out "free" coupons for stockpiling. Neither way is wrong. It is what works for you that matters.

I stockpile free and anything that I can get for 75% off normal walmart shelf prices. I typically can only get things this way when I have a coupon and there is either a sale or clearance. I did recently do a large stockpile buy, and most things I bought were only 50% off shelf price, but with the economy being so uncertain, I thought I'd buy up now, since prices are certain to increase in the near future.
