Yes. I dont have doubles. just hang on to those q's and stockpile when theres a sale. I trade for q's I need here on afc and buy the off ebay. Kmart is doing doubles up to 2.00 right now and sometimes its worth a trip to go.

Yes, it is possible. Just keep an eye on loss leader sales and if there's a reasonable limit set on the items you are interested to buy more of, then you can just buy those items while they're on sale. If the store will not give RCs on loss leaders, try another branch of the chain and hope you find some there. Just focus on what your family needs and do not get just 1 item or you might find yourself with an oversupply of one item and not having any money left for other much needed items. It's easy to get carried away, that is what we should watch out for.

I have no stores that double. And I have no stores that I can see ads in advance other than CVS, so that does kinda hurt me. I can NOT afford to buy extra coupons or papers. Or stamps for that matter. However I have been able to stock up on a few food items. Sometimes I have a couple of coupons to go with it sometimes I don't. We're a family of 7 plus 1 cat and 1 dog. I have just come to accept that I'll never get my food budget down to what I think is a better amount. But I am able to get a lot more using coupons and I'm ok with that.
Some weeks I only need to get bread, milk and meat. Those are usually the weeks that none of those items are on sell either.

Try going on the Weight Watchers diet...when you're down to 1,200 - 1,500 calories a day you'll see a drop in your food bill! I'm not saying you need to diet I'm just speaking from experience.

Yes you can stockpile without doubles. I do just about what everyone here has posted. I plan my meals. If something is on sale, that I can use for another meal, I pick it up if I have extra money. It's lent now so the tuna fish is on sale. I buy for my meals. Than I will pick up a couple of extra for my stockpile.
I try always to buy on sale with my coupons. Never Never pay full price......
