I only ask cuz this sounds like a great idea. I"m a newbie and only thinking of stocking up for us, but If I can get free stuff and maybe sell them to make a lil extra money that would be great.
Just wondering if someone asked me where I got the stuff , What would I say?
How long did it take you to build up that stock pile?

Blue Angel...I have had many of sales with my stockpile stuff and there are people that ask me. I tell them that I am a creative shopper who uses sales and coupons to get items cheap and free. I have even had some of my receipts out to show them.

People now look forward to my sales.

Ok, I just wonder if you have had those people that are skeptical and may think the stuff is stolen. So I guess just be honest and say hey there was a great deal and I stocked up.

I was just talking to a friend about it , she too was impressed. But she was wondering if people can get in trouble for that? I
I told her I did not think so, but what do i know.....
She's a nervous nelly anyways, . She thought maybe one could get in trouble for re selling someones products for cheaper, especially since there is so much of one item.

OK, Ill try to answer your questions!

One touch monitors were $5.

A lot of people asked if I owned a store, and I said no, I shop the deals and use coupons. That answer pasified a lot of people, but some did ask for more details(they were so impressed, I think).

I told them I bought upwards of 10 papers a week, took the inserts out, bound them together and wrote the date on them. Then I would throw them in a box. When the weekly ads came out, I would do a coupon database search and match up coupons w/sale items.

It took me about 2 months to fill up 2 sheets of plywood! BUT I have been massive couponing since I joined here!

I have picts. on post 30 w/all of the prices listed.

I listed on Craigslist(see my other post about that!)w/everything listed and prices, and in the newspaper ad, I only listed out by catagories what I hade.

IE.
BABY-wipes, diapers, Johnson n Johnson baby wash, lotion, washcloths, (MORE)
HEALTH N BEAUTY-Shampoo/Conditioner, make up, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste (MORE)
FOOD- cereal, wheat thins, relish, Kool-aid, cereal bowls, taco seasoning, MORE
CLEANING SUPPLIES, toilet paper, air freshner, candles, laundry soap, Electrasol, hand soap, MORE

I may have gotton in trouble for selling food(see my other post).

when I have a garage sale I am going to accept GOOD coupons.. but if the coupon is worth $1.00, then it will be worth $.50.. ya think that's a good idea?
