How much stuff did you sell and at what prices? You did great! I wish I could have seen the ad. Some mentioned that she copied you prices to save for future yard sale price. If that person happens to still have that list, I would love to see it! Did you sell the stuff at a yard sale, or did your ad in the paper mention what you were selling and have a phone # to contact you if someone wanted to buy?

Yeah, what sold well, didn't sell, did you have to reduce any prices?

Everything sold awesome except the hair coloring! I had over 100 J n J soap/shampoo/lotion/ desitin/washcloths sold for $2 each and I only have about 8 items left.

Wow... I am impressed!

If you go to Craig's list forums, they will tell you that anyone can pull the ad. We had our van listed on Craig's and it was flagged within 2 hours everytime we put it up. The local dealers were not happy we were trying to cut in on their profits! (our theory) Ironically, we sold it in 24 hours!

I too am having a garage/stockpile sale this weekend. I really appreciate your pricing list. I may do a lot more simple ($1, $2 or 3/$5...) just so DH can take $$ with me.

Great job on your sale though! Very impressive. It is also interesting what sells and what doesn't.

When I posted in the help forum on Craigslist, I was told that I had to post in Services!! Who looks in services for a stockpile sale? What a bummer! Apparently you can only post used items and usual garage sale items in the garage sales thread! I'm hoping to contact someone, and see what I can do about this!

People saw your ad for the amount of time that it was up there! I mean they can flag you all day long, but people still see it before that happens!
