| My inexpensive storage solution
I thought someone might be interested in an inexpensive way to store your stockpile instead of buying more shelves. Now I'm just going to use the shelves for heavier items everything else will go in these boxes. I love these because they are only .58 cents each at walmart and when I want to move my stockpile it's so much easier to pick up a whole box then move the items one at a time. I also made a FIFO can dispenser out of one of the smaller boxes at walmart and that turned out pretty good as well.

Will have to check walmart today. I use makeshift shelves with putting a piece of cardboard in between rows. Call it a poor mans shelf. Your boxes look alot easier. Love the can organizer.

| They are in the packing supply section which is also is in the same isle with pens, notebooks ect at my store. there are several sizes to choose from the one I used is 12x12x10, and then for the FIFO one I used the next smallest one which I think is 11x8x4".

Garage is full, guest room is full, office is a no no are (hubby's), maybe my closet......thanks for the idea....

Ingenious! I've completely cleaned out my laundry room for my stockpile. Moved the rarely used items to the yard storage building & was really thinking on how I could maximize space usage for other items. This is such a great idea! Thank you for sharing. Just another handy thing I've tried. I had unused cereal storage containers that I used for fruit snacks. Just opened all the separate boxes & put single pouches in there. I fit about 8 boxes of pouches into 1 cereal container. Now the kids can just flip the top open & pull a pouch open. I did the same with other single wrapped items. |
