A box I am packing to send a group of Marines deployed to Afghanistan



Here it is all neatly packed and ready to go .


Doesn't everyone keep sandwich bags in their bar ?
Got to have lots plastic bags to pack all those goodies.
(Hefty was picked up free after coupon at Walmart . Zip Locks free after coupon the past couple of Kmart doubles )


The rest of the paper stash under the bathroom sink (Oh yea I do use the cheap stuff in the kids bathroom ... they use so much paper that the extra soft stuff just causes me to have to go in there with the plunger on a daily basis .... water saving toilets + children = a huge pain )

It is dishwasher tabs . The gallon jar holds 180 of them and takes a lot less space than storing the boxes .
Of course I keep one box under the kitchen sink too

My husband is on the northern border of Iraq and Turkey. There is a Lt there whom I have been sending womans toiletries as there is no PX in sight. They are coming home!! She said they are not being replaced, so I need another contact. Anyone?

I have had lots of friends and family deployed and usually send them packages direct to pass out but since they are all home until this winter I requested a Chaplin for the time being.

I have started a stockpile of donations for when my son gets to his destination. He just left us Monday 8/17 for Marine bootcamp in Parris Island, SC. So a deep thank you from my family to you for thinking of our Marines that are deployed.

Sending care packages was my main reason for stockpiling and using coupons hardcore also. These guys get deployed to places where they have none of the basic comforts we take for granted that the least I can do is send them some of those basics ... and stockpiling makes it so easy to do

Thank you so much for supporting our Marines. My son will be going to Afghanistan soon and I have been stockpiling like crazy in order to send things to him and to his unit for 13 months.

Could you tell me what your labels say? I am going to do personal messages on things I send to just my son....But would like to do more generic messages for the things that I will send for him to share.
