Sugar Free - Fat Free Jello pudding -- great chocolate fix! Grilled Steak Salad (great for that extra grilled steak) Grilled Steak chilled and sliced thin (one steak will do for 2-3 salads) over mixed greens plus extra veggies (cuke, tomato, carrot shreds, purple onion) Fat Free Dressing of your choice (Ranch or Balsamic ) Add lots of lettuce for a huge plate -- great big meal to the eye and lots of munch time |

Great Dessert -- Warm a whole wheat tortilla (about 80 cal) Place a few sliced fresh strawberries in the middle -- Drizzle with a little honey - sprinkle with a little cinnamon - Top with Fatfree/low cal Cool-whip. Wonderful dessert for less than 150 cal -- Visual -- looks like a strawberry crepe -- DH usually eats standing them standing over the kitchen counter but you can make a pretty presentation if you want.Takes about 30 seconds to make |

With all the fat free stuff out there you can really eat well without a lot of calories. I lost 75 pounds 3 years ago and have kept it off. I even had another baby in there! |

Sun Dried Tomato Basil Pasta: Take a jar of sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, drain the oil off and saute 2-3 cloves of minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Add back the sun dried tomatoes, chopped, and saute for another 2-3 min. Add salt, pepper, basil (fresh or dried) and red pepper flakes (to taste), pour in half a bottle of white wine (cheap stuff, less than $3 a bottle, bonus if it has a wine tag!) or use water with lemon juice added to it, and let reduce to a thick sauce consistency. Toss with whole wheat pasta (ronzoni works very well) and serve. The only fat comes from the olive oil, which is not much or that bad. It is very yummy. I also have a great weight watchers recipie for asian style green beans that is only 1 point per serving. Let me know if you want it! |

Taco Salad 93% lean ground beef (or leaner), or ground chicken, browned 1 can of kidney beans 1 can of diced tomatoes 1 packet of taco seasoning loads and loads of lettuce 2% cheese (2 tbs./serv) be creative with your favorite taco toppings: chopped onion, ff sour cream, peppers, etc. all over baked tortillas (count 'em for only 1 serving) this is super filling b/c of the beans Tortilla Pizzas High Fiber/Low Fat Tortilla, about 6" 2 tbs. Pizza Squeeze 4 slices Turkey Pepperoni 2 tbs. 2% Mozarella Chopped Veggies (Onion and Green Pepper are my favs!) Bake in oven or toaster oven at 425 for about 10-12 mins. Very WW friendly!! Oh, my kids love Potstickers!! And, they are not too bad if you pan "fry" them in Pam! I just buy the premade frozen kind (check the nutritional info b/c I'm sure different brands vary), follow the pan fry directions except I use Pam, steam a bag of frozen stir fry veggies in the microwave, and cook up a pot of brown rice. Dinner is done in 15 mins or less!!!

Drizzle talapia filets with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper and put in foil in oven at 375 for about 15 min. Cut up 1 head of brocolli and cook in a zip and steam bag in microwave. Open a can of pineapple in natural juice. 2 pieces of fish 93 calories brocolli with country crock (just a little) 150 calories pinapple 80 calories all for 327 calories. Yummo!! |

my chili recipe calls for ground beef, but you could surely substitute it for Turkey! Here it is: 1 package of ground beef (usually between a pound and a pound and a half) 4 "soup can sized" cans of kidney beans (dark or light your choice I do 2 of each!) 2 large cans of tomato juice 1 can tomato paste chili powder garlic onions Brown meat. Put tomato juice and paste in crock pot mix well. Add drained beans and meat. Load up the chili powder and garlic to taste. Add onion as desired. Cook in crock pot until you feel like eating it! |
