You dont have to eat eggs if you dont want to however, they are a good source of protein! It's only the first 9 days that you are detoxing your body and are limited on foods. Here is the list for the first 9 days: * all fruit * all vegetables except white potatoes and avocados * tofu * dried beans (e.g., chickpeas, lentils) * brown rice * oatmeal * limited skim or soy milk * herbs and spices - Yay! * low-fat yogurt (no more than 12 oz. daily) * up to 4 egg whites daily * herbal tea * unlimited water |

You are doing great, wildpookey & huntinglabmom! I am not. And that's all we'll say about that. My stomach just couldn't handle it with the digestive issues I have. I'm going to exercise daily, though, so that will help *hopefully*!

Can I ask a question...why is healthy food so expensive? I just went to the grocery store to stock up on fruits and veggies. I left without any...way too expensive for me. 5 peaches for $3.62. I just can't do it. Now, I know what u r thinking...u can't put a price on being healthy, right? Wrong! After being laid off, I am barely scraping by to pay the bills. Maybe I will go to the Farmer's Market later. It just irks me though...no wonder why people are so fat! I can go to the store and either buy a big bag of chips or 1 orange. Grrr...had to vent, thanks!

Babies love veggies and whole grains! You probably would need more iron, though, so that would be a concern. Yes, you can have corn. No, you cannot have instant oatmeal with flavorings added already. I add DaVinci sugar-free syrup or a little honey and cinnamon to mine. |

I would think that would be alright. Just watch the salt ![]() I love adding canned fruit to my oatmeal. BTW I bought lots of canned fruit at Big Lots for 0.90 ea! That is less than a bag of chips I do belive! Also, one can last me 3 meals of oatmeal!

ok I just wanted to say thank you to OP and all the others who have participated in this contest, you all have inspired me so much! I am starting this diet seriously today, the past 2 days I have been trying to "ween" myself off of all the processed foods that we normally eat and after only 2 days, I have noticed that my stomach is so much less bloated! I am thinking that this is because my body was holding onto all the sodium that we consume in processed foods which makes you retain water. I have been eating fruit and veggies like there's no tomorrow and noticed that I have to pee a lot more often, because of all of the water content in these foods. Great sign! So thanks again, I'm totally motivated to do it myself! If I can lose 4 lbs by Sat, I will be super happy!!! (I'm going to the beach |

yesterday I had: slimfast for bfast 1 cup sliced cucumber for snack turkey sandwich for lunch 1 cup green grapes for snack 1 cup brown rice with steamed squash, zucchini, and onions for dinner I know this isn't totally along the lines of this diet, but like I said..I have to "ween" myself, ..I can't just do it cold turkey, that will make me want to cheat so bad |
