Are there any items that you always seem to have a hard time finding in the grocery store?

I can never remember that boullion cubes are located in the soup aisle -- I always try the spices/salt/baking aisle first.

Trail mix -- it is never in the same place, even within the same chain of stores. Sometimes with peanuts; sometimes with Chex; sometimes with dried fruit. Often the employees can't find it either!

So... tell me what you tend to have a hard time finding.....

(I ask out of curiosity AND b/c when I mystery shop I have to ask an employee to help me find a product. I am tired of asking for boullion cubes or trail mix! I need different products to ask for.)

I have a hard time with olives...... They should be located for my convience with the rest of the canned goods!!!!!!

I have problems with canned mushrooms (we use them in just about everything) They are never with the canned veggies. I think they're by the canned tomatoes?

I couldn't find frozen ravioli in my Walmart last time I went. I left without it. I SERIOUSLY can't find it anywhere.

fluff.... sometimes its with the Peanut butter...other times its with the marshmellows...and still other times its with the baking supplies..

Mine are olives too! I think they purposely move them just to screw with me!

Nutella!! To me it should be with Peanut Butter and Jelly. In some stores, it's with baking stuff, in some stores with chocolate, in some stores just a totally random spot.

snapple antioxidant water does not exist at my stores. or tava. ggggrrrr.

Breadcrumbs. Sometimes they're with the bread (duh) and sometimes with the spices. Sometimes I just give up and walk out without them.

I was going to say "anything without high fructose corn syrup"! But I don't think that's the kind of items you're asking about.

Hmmm, let's see.... I buy the same things over and over and never seem to have a real problem finding anything.

Lynda, when I Mystery Shop and have to ask for help, I usually ask where the organic meats are "No, not the natural meats, the organic meats. You do have organic meats, don't you?" It's good for a minute conversation for my report, every time.

Lactose Free Milk - I know it is odd, but some stores ahve it in the organic section & some in the regular milk section. The various stores are not even consistent on the brands they carry!

I also have probs finding the Knorr Dip. I use it to make spinach dip. it is not with salad dressings or snacks, it is with Soups a lot of the time.

Oh yeah & Fuze, sometimes it is where the crystal light is & others it is in the soda isle.

Water filters at Wags.....it is with the appliances!

I also had the hardest time finding the value packs at Target. I thought the value packs were with the regular items, but no, they have a whole isle in the middle of no where just for them.

Ice cream toppings at walmart.... usually at grocery stores they are near the freezer section, but at walmart they are in an odd spot. See I can't even remember the aisle they are on.

EVERYTHING-they just reset our Kroger. I am up and down each aisle looking. My 1/2 hour trip has turned into 1 1/2 hours

definitely the ice cream toppings too! They dont even put those new mix ins with the toppings. I had to ask and they had 2 bottles on a hanger on the freezer door for the icecream but none oveer by the cones or choccolate syrup.

Sometimes they are next to the freezer section, sometimes just a radom aisle...

I have a hard time finding Real Lemon. Not real lemons, but the refill of the stuff you put in the plastic lemon! I haven't found it yet

Nutella is the best! I first tried it in Germany, when my grandparents took me. Now it's sold over here.

I always forget olives are with the pickles!

One thing I can never find is Kraft grated parmesan cheese. I look by the cheeses, but its on the spaghetti aisle.

Yes. Does that surprise you? I just started in April and have only done Harris Teeter grocery stores. I figured since I love to go to the grocery store numerous times in a week, why not get paid to shop?

I get tons of offers to mystery shop HT all the time....too bad the closest one is over an hour from here! I'd love to do it!

I have a hard time finding the Uncrustables..those frozen PB&J sandwiches. DD loves them for lunch.

I can never find pignoli/pine nuts. The are in different places in different stores and it makes me nuts (pun intended)!
