| Just Curious?
I've started digging out my Christmas presents stash to see what I have so far & start wrapping (I hate having a ton to wrap at the last minute.) I now know that I'm done for all of the kids in the family, all of the females most of the males (only 4 to finish) & even have presents for the hubby to give his employees. Yay!!! My daughter is going to have a great Christmas & I love knowing the fact that it really didn't cost that much. This is why I love Christmas shopping all year round. So how many of you shop all year round and save a bunch of money too?

I start shopping December 26 ![]() I hit the after christmas sales and every sale thereafter. I check clearance aisles EVERY time I shop.... I have 3 of my four kids completely done (stockings too) and I have my oldest son about half done ( he is picky and always changes his mind so I wait on him for some things) I need 1-2 more things for dh. I am done with extended family and friends! So just need a couple more gifts :smile I wait to wrap things after I get the tree up. When the kids go to their dad's for Thanksgiving Day I get all my paper and bows out and have a fire lit and just wrap all day while I watch the parades....it gets me in the holiday spirit!

Yay, I'm not the only one. Hubby tells me I'm nuts for shopping right after Christmas. He's doesn't complain when I get all of the good deals though. Checking the clearance aisles before I leave any store is a must!

I try to but not for our kids... They are only 2 and 1 and the last two christmas they haven't gotten anything from us because well they don't need anything and frankly are way to young to even know... I know that will all end sooner than I know... but my question is if you shop all year around how do you get stuff that they want? I mean don't the change there minds???

My daughter is a typical girl, she likes ponies, barbie dolls, horses, girly accessaries etc. so she's pretty easy to shop for. We also taught my daughter early on that while it's ok to ask santa for things that we shouldn't expect them & we should be happy with what we do get. It's to the point that she doesn't even really ask for anything and more. She likes to be totally suprised by what Santa brings her.

I'm like that too, I'm always, hey look at that, that could be good for a present. Then buy it and use on Christmas or their birthday. So your not alone.

We are actually looking at black friday as a way to get ahead for her birthday next spring and save money at the same time. Some things you just know will be a hit whether they ask for them or not.

I shop all year as well. I usually finish very early and have to control myself not to keep spending. I usually have everything wrapped by Thanksgiving, but this year I'm a little behind. We'll put the tree and decorations up this weekend. I plan to finish wrapping this week coming up.

I dug out our stuff too a few weeks back and I have totally enough for our 2 girls. They are 4 and 2. I found some Little Einstein playsets at Walmart last year after christmas for 3.99 ( orignally 39.00 ) and I also got some cute Playschool type toys at Kohls with the $5 off $5 coupons. I found some clearance stuff at Target here and there that will also be great. |

| Hiding it
I shop all year round but the hard part if finding where I hid it all. ![]() Frankly I don't see how people keep their sanity by waiting until the last minute to do it all. |
