| What's your favorite food from your state/area? I love hearing about this kind of thing! What food does your state/area make or produce that you cannot live without? For me it's Taylor Ham/pork roll. I absolutely love it. I always tell people that I can never move out of Jersey because I don't know how to pump my own gas - but really it's because I need to be able to wake up Sunday morning and go to the deli and get a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll. That's just the way it has to be!   |

| I love the pepermint pig..... Comes from a local candy store around here..... It only comes out around the holidays, and it comes with a small hammer, you bust it up with your family and friends and eat it!!! |

| This thread is going to make me sad!!! I moved from NY 4 years ago and there isn't a thing I DON'T miss - especially all the food!!! I couldn't ever narrow it down - Although their Pizza and Bagels were HUGE and AWESOME!!!! Oh my - now I'm making myself hungry again! The food in RI just isn't the same! Oh and the portion size stinks here in comparison! |

| I miss good chicken fried steak with mashed potatos and white gravy. Also they have cozy burgers in my home town. nasty little suckers that are about a half dollar size burgers that smell aweful but taste sooooo good. |

| Jerk chicken, beef patty and coco bread, and calaloo. We moved to Kentucky and we have to travel far to find a decent Jamaican restaurant. I miss that about Maryland. |

| Blackened grouper sandwich from Dockside Dave's or Frenchy's!  Those are 2 of the best "on-the-beach" restaurants around! You wanna talk about fresh fish? |
