Great job Treasure! Very "real" shopping trip, plus I like the way they included the store rep. it shows the obstacles and hoops alot of us have to jump through on a daily basis.....you showed couponing involves instant flexibility- thats not easy for alot of us, even if we have been doing this coupon thing for years.

Treasure this was by far my favorite episode! The most accurate portrayal of real-life couponing. I loved how at the end you bought those girls some candy, that was way awesome! Congrats girl! You did so awesome! |

Great episode, Treasure! I absolutely live your stockpile!!! I am so jealous! I have a tiny one but it's pretty much all HBA. The only food I have "stockpiled" is pasta and sauce.

I believe my favorite part of your episode was your "teaching". Many of the others featured have just been shown clipping and shopping. You actually took the time to explain how you do what you do, what a cat is, etc. I also appreciated the fact that you had to revamp mid-trip. How many of us have been in a similar situation where we're in the middle of a store and they don't have an item we desparately need to make our transactions work?? How many of us have had to whip out our calculator and rework our math? You showed a REAL trip not a purchase-as-many-mustards-as-you-can-to-make-your-oop-as-high-as-possible-and-then-use-freebie-q's-to-bring-your-total-down-to-zero trip. AMAZING job! Thank you!

Ok, so I have access now to have it DVR'd but what date & time does it re-run please & what is the name of the episode? I went & watched one (with half an eye on the tv bec it was twins & then a guy who made care packages for troops & I don't think that's Smurfy's show) but I will say what I saw seemed much more realistic & portrayed couponers as the savvy folks they are (IMHO) & not as greedy or hoarders or just plain crazy (  )!
