Hmmmmm.....I've very, very rarely had any problems with my Flemington, NJ Shoprite accepting the IP coupons. The only issue they had was once they were printed without any barcodes on them. This I could understand.
As far as treating you as if you were a criminal....whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? :????? There is NO EXCUSE in how the employees treat their customers using them. These coupons are on the web so that we ARE ABLE TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THEM!!!! If it wasn't for the fact that my Shoprite is not close to you I would tell you to COME ON DOWN AND RELAX! IP COUPONS ARE WELCOME HERE!!!

(Now I have to just cross my fingers and hope this isn't contagious!!)

I think its the employees. I think Flemington is owned by the same people ( Colalillo or something like that).

I have gone to the one in Washington on 57. They did look at them, but its a totally different attitude. No lectures, snide comments etc.

If Flemington were not a haul I would go there. I am basically sticking to Stop and Shop and occasionally Wegmans.

Ugh! So sorry you had such a miserable experience. I'm going tomorrow morning after I drop my son off at preschool so I will report back with how it went and who I had.

FWIW, I usually go on Thursday mornings after dropping my son off and usually with my mom. Like I said, so far I haven't had any issues. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow...

Gum toothbrushes 88 cent scenario.

I have .75 & 1.00 off coupons. Can only use max of 4 each. I kept getting last one adjusted if I used 4 of one or the other. Doing math while driving to SR, figured out if I bought 8(4 of 2 varieties) it would total $7.04(8x.88).
Then use 4 .75 as and 1 $1 q. That totals $7 off, costing .04 cents for 8 instead of 4 free but doesn't waste some of the coupon value.

I'm planning to do my big ShopRite trip tomorrow and would like to know if anyone had a problem using 6 $1/1 IPs on 6 Crescent rolls. I'm not good enough at the Shoprite system to know if the issue mentioned above with the GUM toothbrush coupons will apply to this scenario too.

It doesn't seem like you should have a problem, I didn't see a limit on the # you can purchase and the extra $1/4 is limited 2 4 offers which should mean you could buy16. Anyone else?

The GUM is a bit different in that Stone is trying to maximize the value of the coupon because some of the Qs are higher value than the product.

You shouldn't have any problems with the (6) $1 Qs.

You may have a problem using 6 of the same coupon (if they have the same UPC code on them). My store allows it but I've read others only allow 4 of the same coupon.

I only had 4 $1/1 so I used two $1/2 and got a total of 8 crescent rolls.
