I had a question on the Robitussin Cough Formula $5 OYNO CAT deal.

I was wondering if there is a limit on how many you can purchase & still get the $5 OYNO CATS.

The bottles are tiny; only 4 oz, as where normally they would be 8 - 12 oz. Still free, so not complaining; just mentioning; so 3 would equal a regular size one.

Anyway, in the ad, it doesn't say "Limit 4", for example; so I was once told by an employee that if it doesn't say limit with a number, then there isn't any limit (I had asked during the Blue Bunny purchases a couple of weeks ago).

But in the ad for this, it does say, "All purchases must be made with your price plus card on one register receipt. Limit one (1) check out coupon per offer. Rewards offer valid between 8/9-8/15/09."

I'm assuming the 'limit one checkout coupon per offer' means just that; and not a limit on how many you can purchase.

I purchased one the other day; no problem; CAT printed. Then I happened to be at a different store today that I passed & when the CAT didn't print, I asked the girl why it didn't print; (this was at the self check-out); she opened the machine to find the paper had jammed; so she called someone over & they printed out a CAT from a different machine.

Then, I was at my regular store today; same thing; the CAT didn't print; the girl opened the machine, as there was half a q sticking out of the CAT machine for something else; from a previous person's purchase; she saw the machine was out of paper; called someone to print it from another machine.

I'm just wondering if they wouldn't have printed anyway, had the machines not had a jam & the other one out of paper; if I had reached my "limit" with the one I initially printed?

I guess I would find out if I found a register with a CAT machine that worked!

Just wondering if anyone was able to get more than one, & get more than one $5 OYNO CAT?

Oh; one thing; the 1st one & the 3rd one, purchased at my regular store; had no problem with the $2 q's. The other store in between, I had a B&W cpn & it threw the girl off & then the Mgr. The coupon went through without a problem, but the girl & then the Mgr were both questioning it; first the girl because it was B&W; & then the Mgr because she said it didn't have a web site address on it. I told her it was from the Robitussin web site. They both said they get so many bad coupons that they have to be careful; I said I understood; & they let it go through.

I did another one late this afternoon & the q went through; & the CAT printed before I even paid. The cashier had to call over the Mgr to check the q, as she said they had gotten so many bad ones lately; not for this item, but in general; she said mostly copies & ones with expired dates. The Mgr came over; was the same one I had this morning; she asked me if I was here earlier & I said, "Yes." She looked at the q again, & asked the cashier if it scanned; she said it did; the Mgr said, "Okay; well, it was good this morning & we took it, so I guess it's okay." (this one was in color; my other they first questioned was in B&W) She again told me about all the trouble they have with internet q's; & also how this one doesn't have a web site address on it. I told her again that it is from Robitussin's web site; & she said okay. Everyone was nice; no big deal; everything worked out fine.

I'm glad you didn't have a problem. I used the Q without question but only once so far. I think my ShopRite wants either the website or our name on the Q, it did have my name.

Mine did have my name printed on it; I didn't think of pointing that out to them; but again, it didn't have the web site.

I did 2 transactions, 2 different people with one store & absolutely no problem; then 2 more transactions with different people with this other store; the problem where it was really looked at or scrutinized (where it seemed questionable as to if they were going to accept it or not) was with this other store. The woman kepy staring at it & looking it over; but didn't seem to know what to look for or how to tell if it was "real" or not; she just kept saying they're supposed to check for the web site listed, & that the expiration date is good. They just kept saying how they have had alot of coupon problems in the past. The dozen or so times I've been in this store, everyone is super nice; & they were nice here with this as well; so I didn't take it personally; I understood where they were coming from. (All I kept thinking was, sure; now I've finally gotten into using coupons, & they're having problems with them!

As a rule, my regular store is very nice; although over the weekend, there was a problem, & the Mgr on duty was a total jerk, & is always very nasty to the customers & staff; I don't know how he's in the postition he is. It was really very upsetting. What he said was inexcusable; totally uncalled for, & certainly unprofessional. I came very close to complaining about him to the store Mgr, as everyone there suggested I should; but he was in a meeting. They gave me his name & ph number; I didn't get to call, but think I will when I get time this week.

Anyone else having trouble finding the whole grain Cheez-Its? My store is on the smaller side, and I was wondering if most of the other Shoprite's had them. In other words... is it worth me taking a trip to another store to look for them?

At the store, they had said they "guard" the newspapers (their words ;o) & won't let anyone take one unless they are purchasing it right then & there; the store employees hold them otherwise; they said to ensure the inserts are all there. (I know my neighborhood is super safe; but I guess these are "hot" items! LOL!) I had double checked to make sure the RP & SS were there; but I didn't look for specific q's.

I'm wondering if these q's were regional? Or my paper -- or the ones in the Dollar Store -- were missing them.

No big deal; I'll live. ;o) Would have been nice; but it's okay. Just curious.

Lets see I bought 1 APP for some reason I have not been happy with the coupons in the APP lately.
I should have not wasted my $2 on the APP. I should have bought another Courier News. I bought 3 couriers the coupons in there were decent.

I love, love Phil. Inq. but did not get they ran out.

So many different coupons in the paper I can not afford so many different kinds.

I'm in Somerset Cty too and noticed the past 2 weeks that the RedPlum insert is inside of Thursdays Star Ledger along with the other sale flyers...not sure why they are doing this lately? So definately check Thursdays paper!

Oh no!!! I hope it's not the same in Middlesex County. I've been throwing away my Thursday papers b/c I didn't realize there might be inserts in them. I've even called and requested not to get the Thursday b/c I only wanted the Sunday but they said they couldn't do that.

Forgive me if this is already listed & I missed it.

I was in Shop Rite late afternoon; literally had 5 minutes & had to pick something up; saw a large bin of Right Guard and Soft & Dry Deodorants (sticks); on sale for .66 ea. with a $10.00 purchase.

It was for 4 days only; Wed. through Sat. (Aug. 12th through 15th) only.

(I don't know what the commotion was, but just about everyone at Customer Service where I was, was there because of something with these deodorants. And the CS people were all frustrated & going crazy.)
