I knew Kelloggs cereals were on sale this week starting today at Shoprite and I wanted to buy at least 10 at one time to submit for this rebate:

Well, a lot of the cereals (NOT Special K, darn!) were on sale for 1.99. With the $1 Q from the Sunday insert expiring today, I snapped up a bunch. Also grabbed some PopTarts (also qualify for the deal) at 1.88 using .55 Q (which were doubled!). So: Paid no more than $1 for each cereal/poptart and will get back $10. Plus I think they will send me $70 code to use if I buy a DELL computer. Since there were two of us, we broke it into 2 orders so I would have 2 receipts with which to submit the rebates (to two different people). So: Pretty much have a TON of what will be FREE cereal. If you have those Q expiring today, this might be too late - but my Pop Tarts didn't expire until Aug and I think there may be some Kelloggs printables that can be used.

Edited to add: I think the Excedrin deal is over - there was a sign about a $1 Catalina but I did not look closely. Also, Bumblebee Tuna pouch deal 10/$10 still going strong. And since I had more $.85 Viva Qs, got 4 more .30 rolls of paper towel (Priced at $2 a roll - .85 doubled = .30 a roll! - But I can only get 4 each trip since they will only double 4 of the same Q!)

I checked over my receipts and found two issues. First, the print on the receipts was completely missing down one strip of the receipt. The dollar amounts were not visible at all. So, one line would have Kelloggs Froot Loops .34, then the next would show the sale discount ---> .35 -. So it actually looked like I was getting a penny overall on each cereal! I stopped in to see if they could reprint the receipt. They did, but it's printed on regular 8X11 paper. I think that if I send in the original, nearly illegible receipt along with the printed copied, the Kelloggs rebate should work.

The second issue is that one of the types of Pop Tarts I bought was Strawberry Creamcheese which was discontinued. These showed as 2.39 on my receipts (the other Pop Tarts were 2.39 then had -.55 after it on the receipt). So, even though the ad stated that all varieties of Pop Tarts were on sale for 1.88, they charged me too much for this one type. I bought a total of 5 of this type and they were on two different receipts (mainly so I submit a Kelloggs refund for myself and another for a friend, but also because I wanted to use 5 of the same Pop Tart coupon, .55, and they only double the first 4 of a particular coupon).

The customer service person told me that their scanning policy results in them refunding me the total price of the incorrect item (2.39) for each order plus refunding me the difference for the others for which I was overcharged. Yeah! Money back on an already very inexpensive order!

EDITED: I think I forgot to mention that we will be able to send away for 2 Star Trek themed 1GB Flash Drives (my friend & I each bought enough marked boxes)! They also have a free DVD and a couple other options. The free Flash drive offer requires 8 Star Trek tokens found on the back on specially marked boxes & a form, which I believe is inside the box. WooHoo - this deal just keeps getting sweeter!

there are some Kellogg's Qs at Coupons, Deals, Tips, Savings & Contests - RedPlum: Home $1.50/2 raisin bran or mini wheats...not sure if this size/type is part of the sale, but maybe...
