| Good Buy on Garnier Fructis
They have Garnier Fructis (hope this is spelled correctly; doing it from memory late at nt..... ;o) [they say Stylers, but they have shampoos, etc.], 2/8.5 oz. pkge on sale for $2.49. (They put 2 8.5 oz. bottles together in one package.) There was a $1.00/1 q from the paper I believe either 6/21 or 6/28; so they come out to $1.49 for 2 bottles; or .75 a bottle. That's good for this shampoo, which is usually on sale for $2.99 for one bottle. I picked it up at Target earlier in the week, where they had it for $2.99; so it came to $1.99 with the q for 2 bottles. I thought the .99/bottle was good, but this is even better! OH- and packaged in between the 2 bottle, I can see there is a manuf. q; looks like $1.00. I didn't open the packs yet. |

Spray & Wash Max Whites with Resolve Power had a Try Me Free on it. It's on sale for 1.99 and there is a Sunday insert coupon for .50 - so doubled it will cost .99 PLUS you can send in for a refund of 1.99. And I don't remember seeing the special deal on one subject notebooks - .10 limit 10 when your order is at least $15. |

Another cheap item this week: Dole Mandarin Oranges on sale for .69. Buy 3, use a $1 off 3 from a recent Sunday insert. At checkout, receive a .75 onyo (when you by 3). So 3 of them ends up costing $.32! I also received a Catalina coupon for $1 wyb 6 but as long as I have the $1 wyb 3, I will use those as they are manufacturers coupons and cannot be combined. |

And sorry about my math - Duh! .30 for paper towels (especially Select A Size which I think ends up saving me money since we use less), isn't bad. |

![]() I totally agree on the paper towels....I've purchased 8 rolls so far and have 4 qs left. I keep hoping they'll go down to $1.75 or something, so they will be 10c! I'm so darn cheap that 30c even seems expensive in some ways!

| Heather, cpn you're looking for Heather, I just saw the cpn you are asking about today, twice, on the internet. I don't remember the exact site, but it is where you put your zip code in, & like 9 pages of cpns come up that you can print out. I want to say it was coupon.com? I'm almost positive. As I said, I saw this on a couple of places where you can print out all those q's; as I had been thinking that they all had the same coupons. If you're more familiar with the name of those sites than I am, you could check some & you could find it. But again, I am pretty sure it was coupon.com. In fact, I will check now & see it I can find it & let you know. |

| Betty Crocker Cpn My memory was correct; that I had found it on coupons.com, as I double checked in the email I got. For some dumb reason, when I clicked on the link now, it took me to a blank page & said that it was "done" (loaded); but there was nothing there; same when I typed in the address directly, I couldn't connect for some reason; but I know it was on there. I also saw info that Smart Source had cpns by them (Betty Crocker), & sure enough, when I checked, it was on page 5. Hope that helps you find it. Heather- I posted this in a separate thread, but since you have an on-going list here of everything, I thought I would add this here. By the way, in your initial post in this thread, you wrote about the Degree Deod., adding that it included the Ultra Clear. That was the one I had a problem with. When you wrote it included that, was it because it says that on the picture of the deodorant in the circular? Cause I noticed after that it is not listed in the ad where it lists I think about 3 different types. Anyway, here is what happened to me today; again, posted in another thread; I apologize in advance if I am not supposed to list this twice; but again, all the posts for this week's circular seem to be here. Thanks again: "Went to Shop Rite, armed with my trusty ;o) .75 manuf q's, to get the Degree Deod. that was on sale for $1.69, for .19 cents (after q doubling). I wound up selecting the exact one that is in the circular; blue in color (there were 4 different colors with 4 different scents); pic of woman in black dress; read Ultra Clear on the label which it read in the pic; & it was 2.6 oz. which is also in the ad. On the shelf, there wasn't anything showing a sale price, but this was not my regular store; I only have been in there a handful of times; so I thought maybe they don't put sale prices on the shelves??; I don't know. This was the only one that looked like it, so I figured it had to be it. Took it to the register & it rang up $4.69. I took them over to CS & told the woman they were supposed to be on sale for $1.69 but they rang up $4.69. I showed her the picture in their circular. She said she'd be right back, took the deodorants and the receipt & went to the aisle where they were. Came back & said this wasn't the item that was on sale. I said but it's the exact one in the picture in the ad; she said the ad was a mistake. I asked her which one was on sale, & she brushed me off quickly; so I repeated my question, & she quickly said they didn't have it. Here it was Tues. & they didn't have an item that went on sale on Sunday? A guy who worked in CS who was there (who I've gotten before & is very nice) looked at the pic in the circular & the item & said to her that it was the same item; & she repeated that they made a mistake with the ad. I said I had come down specifically for that item, & the guy said to me, "I'm with you!" So I asked if there was a Mgr I could talk to (it was just strange the way she brushed off about the correct item when I asked which it was, if this wasn't it). They called for a Mgr but no one came. She went to help someone else. The guy said to me that he would try calling someone else; that there was this woman who was good & could help me. He called her & told her the whole thing, & she said there was a mistake in the ad; period. The guy hung up & you could see he felt bad; and repeated what he said before; "I'm with you!" and then, "I think you're right; and I also think they should do something!" I thanked him and we talked for a minute more. I was going to ask for a rain check, but I was in a hurry to pick my DH up, so I figured I would go tomorrow to my Shop Rite by my house that I'm shopping at for 10 yrs. I understand if there is a mistake in the ad, they can't sell it to you for the lower price, as they would lose money; & the manuf. is involved here (they don't want their item selling for the wrong price). It printed out 2 catalinas; each for $2. for Mitchum deod., so that was okay; eased the pain or blow a little. ;o) (Had just come from McDonalds for a free McCafe Iced Mocha; the q was for a hot one & a size small. The girl there asked me if I wanted a cold one; & I said I would prefer it. She had a problem ringing it up & the Mgr said it was cause it was set up for a free size small (the hot ones) & the cold ones don't come in small; just medium; so he said he would give me a free medium instead. And the Mgr told me to come back on Mondays for the free tiny one [I had been there the day before for it ;o) ] Whoo hoo! Sadly, it take very little to make my day! ;o) So I came off of that nice experience, only to be disappointed by the deodorant error. BTY, if anyone hasn't had one of those McCafe Iced Mocha yet, OMG; they are great!!! Anyway, did anyone else have a problem with this item? Did anyone else try to purchase it; the one with the woman in the dress on it? What is the one that is on sale? TIA!" |

Heather~ My SR store had a typed up "sign" under the Degree deodorant on the shelf stating it was a misprint in the ad (for that one that's $4.69, with the picture of the woman in a black dress on it) & they apologized for any inconvenience. I guess people had a problem & so it was brought to their attention, unlike the other store. (Meanwhile, they were sold out of the like 5 or 6 different other types! Thay had one or two men's types, but I was looking for the woman's so I got rain checks.) Quick question (not sure this belongs here, but maybe you could answer it for me ;o) : I looked up the Starbucks Ice cream q from 6/21 or 6/28 (sorry; I forget which right now), & mine is for $1.00, as where here & on another thread it said it was $2.00. Does this vary by region or something? There have been a number of weeks when people referenced q's from 6/21 & 6/28 (the only 2 wks I've bought papers since I've been here! ;o) & I didn't have those particular q's; so I thought perhaps my area got less q's in the newspaper or something & didn't bother to write about it. But the different amount here puzzled me. Just curious. TIA for any info. Last edited by leapinglizards; 07-22-2009 at 01:19 PM. Reason: typos/spelling |

Coupons do vary by region and also by paper. I notice one of my local paper carries better coupons than the other. I buy extra papers and try to trade or buy coupons from clipping services if I don't get them personally. Hope this helps!
