Can someone help me with SFW's coupon policy? I was there this morning and they accepted both their retailer coupon from their circular and the manufacturer's coupon for Post cereals. That was fine.

I went back tonight. There was a huge line forming. When I got to the cashier, she said that only one coupon per item was accepted. I told her that they had accepted both my coupons this morning. She called the manager, who said that they only accept one coupon per item and that the cashiers should not have let me use the Qs this morning. The line was getting longer and longer.

I was so embarrassed that I asked to return all the cereals and paid for the rest of my stuff and left. I realized after I got home that she did not return 7 of my Post coupons!

I don't want to misuse any Qs -- I am confused. Was the coupon marked "Retailer" coupon a store coupon or a manufacturer's coupon? Are we allowed to stack these or not? Can someone help?

I had the same thing - went the other day and they took both Qs no problem, went yesterday and they wouldn't take both Qs. I think it depends on the cashier.

Anyway, in my email to them, thanking them for running double coupons, I asked if they have a policy about accepting both the store coupon in their flyer and a manufacturer coupon from the newspaper. I'll post when/if I get an answer.

OK - got my email back - they do NOT allow use of both the "in flyer" coupon and the manufacturer coupon. So those of us that had them go through apparently got "lucky".
