I had sent them an email last Wednesday about the triples and how, though I really enjoyed their coupon events, I was disappointed that they weren't still doubling $1 Qs. I was nice, and pointed out that doubling $1 Qs made them stand out from the grocery store crowd, as no one else did that.

The PRESIDENT called me the next day, but we only connected today, to talk about coupons and SFW and how they stack up to other grocery stores, etc. He was very nice, personable and friendly. Not full of himself.

He did say that they would probably do double $1 Qs again, and that they are "testing the waters" so to speak, to see what sort of impact the different coupon promotions have on their sales figures. He said the triple to .50 and double to $1 had a nice impact on their numbers, so they wanted to see how the triple to .99 did. So, they're still figuring out what will work best for them. But I made sure to tell him that we really liked the doubles to $1, and hoped they'd do that again.

That's like 6 kinds of Awesome! And I had just hoped to have my store manager pass along my disappointment about the $1 not doubling to the District Manager.
