At the shaws I shop at ALL the Thermacare is on clearance, super super cheap $3 and under, amazing if you have a coupon great stock up item, remember people still get the flu in the spring. Also spotted Children's Triaminic, all of them, colds, fever, strips and liquids, so if you have those q's cheap, they were the same $3 and under, and I have q's from a box from the triaminic for $1 off so if you have any might be worth it, yes the dates are good, more than a year away. I had a .75 q for Tyson Chicken nuggets and it doubled, so my bag was $3.49 and I used the $1.85 IP q for Voila frozen dinner, and it was on sale for $3.99 - $1.85 IP q, = $2.14, we had the Chicken Fetticine and it was soooo good!
Also, tonnnnsss of BBQ sauce on the clearance section, from Kraft, and the very expensive ones, and the most I saw for those was a mark of $1.75, other than that not much great clearance.

I also have a question, do you guys notice in the meat section, a consistant sched or certain day for manager special markdowns??? I noticed a ton of them tonight, only b/c I went for the Johnsonville sausage on sale and used the $1 q and maybe I was just lucky but the managers specials was on alot of things, steaks, chicken, organic chicken, ground chicken and turkey. I never to seemed to get a deal on their meat but tonight I did really well and I was in shock about it, b/c shaws is so exp with their meat.
So what did you find??

I have yet to find a clearance section at the shaws I go to. One time I saw a table with 3 items on it, but no place I can always go to look.

I used to have a very hard time, ours isn't always in a particular area, (sometimes bread is put on a cart, the usual 50 to 75% off, I don't buy bread hardly, we stock up at a Hostess Discount bakery, recommend googling and freezing bread and good deals for school snacks) then the freezer clearance was never posted either. One day, I noticed just one section with an assortment of out of placed mixed up frozen goods) I opened it picked somethings up and they had blue and orange stickers on them. My store also does clearance w/ yellow tags where you would read for the price (you have to scan, but you get used to looking for the markdown and %off signs, and then by the back storage doors, where the workers come out w/ the pallets for merchandice to stock there is a shelving unit, like a end cap w/ clearance items, sometimes good, sometimes crap. It is all about looking and really finding the way the store does things, they are there but they change and move things around, at least ours does. Now our store posts a sign on the frozen clearance section. I always look at the yellow tags looking for markdown or 50% off etc... Ours is getting cheap w/ the pull tag q's again, they would put them out, and now they aren't. Literally in 2 hours I went in, and had to go back in for fries for dinner I forgot, they had q's tags on the baileys irish cream fully stocked w/ q tags on them that disappeared literally in 2 hours, nope and it wasn't on the weekend.
