Does anyone know how its calculated at Shaws....Is it PSP? Cause my last trip...my total OOP was 17.00 after Q's and Sale prices and my CATS used...but it said that my purchase of 59 and change qualified for .10/gallon....

I believe its the total after the doubled amount of any coupons are taken off and any shaw's qs. Meaning, the deduction of your manufacturer coupon is included in the total for the gas rewards qualifications.

I think certain grocery items like alcohol, stamps, etc are also excluded.

The face (not the doubled portion) amount of manufacturer's coupons used is included for determining if you met the $50 requirement. It is not PSP.

I probably sound a bit silly here but I still dont get it....it sounds like your saying that after my mq's my total has to be over 50.00 OOP to meet the requirements?

What she is saying is that, your total after your Shaw's card is scanned, minus the extra savings (ex. if you have a .50/1 coupon, and it doubles, then .50 is taken from your amount that the gas rewards to is based on). Just think about it this way, manufacturers coupons (at least in the mind of Shaw's) is just like cash, they get paid by the manufacturer for that coupon amount. It is Shaw's that kicks in the "double" part of any coupons that double, so they don't count that towards your gas rewards total.

ok I think I get it....(honestly its a rough day over here my brain doesnt wanna work)...so its my TOTAL After using my Shaws Card....and any DOUBLING is taken out to determine if I meet the 50.00? All other MQ's if they dont double arent minused off my 50.00?

if this is correct I dont understand how I got my gas rewards..cause my total after my Shaws Card was only 32.00. and I didnt have any doubled coupons.

Julie,
At the bottom of your reciept there should be a "savings summary" that tells you how much you saved using your rewards card, from coupons, and from store coupons. The store coupons includes the doubled portion of your mfg coupon.

So take your total OOP and add back in the Mfg coupon line item at the bottom of your reciept and see if this is over $50.

If it is still less than 50 then I don't know why you got them

Ok on my reciept my OOP was 17.44
My MFG Coupons was 15.50
32.94

Then it says Shaws Gas Rewards
In your Sale your eligible purchases were
59.15 and my Discount is .10/gallon

So thats why I asked if it had something to do with PSP cause I didnt pay that much OOP or even adding in the MQ's.

I'm stumped. When you add in the Shaws coupons is it still less than 50? I guess I don't understand how these are calculated then.

I dont understand either...honestly I cant find my reciept..But I am pretty sure that before my shaws card my total was over 50.00. So thats why I am wondering how these are calculated...I guess its something to maybe keep track of. What stinks is that I have the real old shaws card (which you cant use at the gas station to get your rewards) and I am waiting on my override card so that .10/gallon was a waste LOL..I cant use it

There's a chance that if you take your card into the gas station, they may honor it.
Here in Maine, the cards never work so you have to go into the gas station to get your .10 off. Also, I think the override program ends on the 25th-Got an email from them the other day.

Everyone else is probably wondering why we aren't wrapping gifts and being productive-Finally finished wrapping last night. I think I'm close to being done-Since it's the 23rd, that's probably a good thing.

HAHAHA...I actually did it all this past Sat...Saturday mornings are the ONLY time I am without both Kids...Hubby takes my daughter to her OT and takes my son with him too so I can have some quiet time...but I spent all that time wrapping presents...so I am done with that...Honestly the only thing I have left to do for xmas is get my Sausage Rolls at Shaws and COOK ....fun fun...
