So tired and forgot to use $5 cat that expires tonight! Should I drive 20 minutes for $5? I am so bad at not wasting these.

ummm..... I probably would! if they have JJ it'll be a great deal. $5 can buy a dinner for your family. Or just milk and bread or something!! Use up the apple coupon in the BTS book since I think tonight is the last day you can use it for cheap apples. hmmm..... There's $1.99 icecream and a lot of other stuff. Figure out what you need and GO GO GO!!!! Once your out it won't be so bad!

Nope I did the math...My mini van gets like 20 miles to the gallon and it is 20 miles each way so about $2.49 a gallon x 2= $4.98...not worth the .02 cents...lesson learned next time on the last day of the cat deal after I have made 10 trips worth of stuff I will just buy a couple gallons of milk. I always want to save them for the next cat deal but whats the difference if I have to buy milk anyways? It does eat me up to let it go to waste though. I almost want to spend $5 on gas just on principal.

Didn't realize you had to spend so much in gas just for the trip. Not worth it - it's a wash!!! You could go today and just ask at CS. It can't hurt. Just say you couldn't get out yesterday and you'd hate to waste $5. See what they say. I've never tried it myself, but it's only the next day.

We've used cats a day or two after they have expired. Never had a problem.

The cats are manufacturer's qs so you could trade it with someone else on AFC that has a store that takes expired qs...then it wouldn't be a waste!

I had to run out last night...I discovered $15 in cats that were expiring! Mostly I just bought produce that was on sale...too tired to figure out rolling....
