Hi Everyone!

I have been lurking on the Shaws thread for about 2 weeks now and decided to take the dive on the $15/30 cat deal.

I went to Shaw's today and wrote down all my shelf prices, and I came up with 3 simple scenarios that I hope are successful!!! (thanks for all your ideas!)

So, my question is:

I love self-checkout and wonder if the catalinas will print there? I haven't really seen anything posted about this, so I was wondering if any of you had tried it?

I always use self check out and the cats print there.

Yes, the cats will print out there. The only issue with self checkout is that if you use a lot of coupons, they will need to approve the transaction, especially if you are using CATs to pay for the transaction they have to come over and override it.

I second what rachelhale said about using coupons at self-checkout. I used several coupons on a non-catalina transaction last week and they had tons of trouble. I think it was because my total was less than my tax. When I use lots of coupons, I'd rather go to a regular register.
