Does anybody know if I purchase a $300.00 Shaws Refund Rewards Gift Card at Shaws if I will also get the Gas Rewards?

I just got my first receipt with Gas Rewards and I haven't seen this posted so I thought I would post what mine said.

My understanding is that it is not earned on certain items. Milk, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and gift cards were mentioned to us yesterday in the store. I guess you used to be able to earn it on $50 cash back as well but not anymore.

If you could that would be a great additional benefit to buying the $300 gift cards!

If I'm understanding her post correctly, her receipt indicated that the money she spent on the gift cards counted towards the gas points. Is this correct?

No, I haven't bought a gift card yet just trying to plan some strategy and wondering if I woud get Gas Rewards when buying the Refund Rewards Gift Card. Sorry for the confusion.

I was told only certain grocery items count, so I don't believe the gift card would count
