I used four of them there today. There was some question on if you had to spend $15 for each or for the set of four but the front end manager said to take them.

Wish I had a Stop n Shop. The only competitor we have is Hannaford.

I went to the CS desk and asked if they accepted competitor coupons and she immediately asked if I meant the Stop and Shop dollar doublers so I guess I'm not the first to think of it. I actually hardly ever go to S&S because their sales aren't that great but I do plan to go this week. Hopefully I will be able to get another flyer and it will have dollar doublers in it.

Me too. We only have Shaws, Hannaford and Market Basket.

So, you only had to spend $15 before your coupons for them to take all 4 coupons?? Was this the Cranston store?? I wonder since the store I go to wouldn't let me use the Wags RR's or the RA coupons when i tried once. Thanks for the info though!

I don't use Stop n Shop either but I'll see what happens. There's a smaller store around here called Trucchis that I use from time to time...they double and sometimes are better than the others. I still prefer Hannafords for the deli.

It was the Warwick store at the intersection of Rt 2 and 117. I think you need to spend $15 after coupons. She put the doublers to the side till the end and then she said she thought I needed to spend $15 for each but checked with the front end manager who said to go ahead and accept them all. I spent $50 after coupons (including the doublers)

I asked at the service desk if I could use them before I even started and she said as long as I spent $15 but didnt say "per coupon" or not.

Just want to bump this for any of you that have a stop and shop but don't check out the S&S forum. Looks like everyone got these this week except RI (we had them last week) Even if you don't shop there check your flyer!

My Shaws only let me use 2 of these as I only had $30 something of groceries. I'm pretty sure the cashier would have put them all through, but the bagger who had a asst mgr on her name tag, piped right up and said that I needed $15 for each.

Then later in the transaction, the cashier made a point to not let my .75 kraft coupons double.

Oh well, I still ahve 2 doublers and I got $13 in Cats OYNO!

This is great news! Jess I just stopped at my stop & shop to see if I could get an extra set of these for you, but the ones in the store didn't have them and at CS they said "those were mailed to people's homes". I even looked in carriages and in the garbages at the checkout, but no luck.

Thanks for the great news, I'll save these for my trips to Shaws!

My S&S this week that just ended had the doublers and they were in the ones in the store. I was actually surprised they were. I guess they learned from their mistake.

BTW it is kind of YMMV. I think Stefani posted that she tried to use these at her Shaws but was shot down.

The ever so smart melchef suggestd the PO. They had a recycle bin there and it was amazing how many people throw away their circulars!!!! I felt like I struck gold!!!!!!!!!!!!
