I'm pretty sure I saw some Kelloggs coupons in the Red Plum this week too that would make the cereal pretty cheap. I'm also happy the meat is on sale again!! I missed out last time so I have to stock up a little this time around!!

One other thing I saw real quick was that they have a coupon on Shaws site for $1/2 Fresh express - this may work out pretty good with the bogo sale and the manu coupons that I think are out there!!

I started working on the matchups, and I gotta say - someones on the ball this week! 12/14 RP are already in the database! Also the price list has started to come in handy! Thanks everyone who has participated in that. Reminds me I need to start a new contest thread. And make sure you print out the Shaws coupons this week. There are 4 pages worth! |

Not just not enough time - not enough room! My cheast freezer is 100% full right now and my "stockpile closet" is bursting at the seams. I need a bigger house! By the way, I posted this in last weeks thread but in case you missed it, the diet swiss miss is marked 10/$10 on the shelf but rang up 2.79 for me! I caught it and got them to fix it but watch for this if you buy it next week. |

I went to Shaws last night. Haven't been too much lately-Too busy with Christmas. Anyway, I did pick up the Village candles that were B1G1. I used two coupons from the Shaws Holiday book so two candles wound up being $9. They're good sized candles so $4.50 each is pretty good imho.

I did go the other night and got some good deals too! The TGIF things are $2.99 and I had the $3.00 coupons (FREE). I got the worstchire sauce - on sale for $1.29 and there are $2.00 blinkies right under the product so $.29 each. I got Diet Dr pepper - they are on sale for $1.50 each and there was $.55 peelies on them which doubled and made it $.40 a 2 liter. I got the $1.99 meet and used the $1/ 3lbs and I also got the culinary circle pizza which is on sale with the $1 off coupon from the holiday book. Ummm...... oh and I had them do 2 - 1/4 lb of the margherita genoa salami and used the $.55 coupons which doubled and I pretty much got free salami. I'm going to go back tomorrow and get 4 1/4 pounds and use 4 coupons and the $1/1 lb from the holiday book. this was actually a pretty good week for me, but I didn't take advantage of it like I should have to stock my freezer. I'm going to try and get there again tomorrow before the sale ends to get some more stuff. I got other stuff, but can't remember everything. My total before any savings (didn't scan my card till the end because I wanted to see total savings) was $109 and change before and then $35 and change after - I was very happy with that since I got meet, 2 things of milk, 2 loaves of bread, and a bunch of other stuff that we'll eat everyday!!

I missed all the deals this past week, we had that huge ice storm and lost power for 4 days and never got to go grocery shopping, I was so upset cos I thought all my frozen veggies that I got for free would be wasted along with everything else, but amazingly enough I managed to save 80% of my stuff with filling cool boxes with ice from the trees. I have to use it up soon though as I am sure it was not completely frozen all the time, this storm made me realise how ill prepared I am. I am going to try and but tinned veggies from now on and although I have stockpiled some great soups and pasta and sauce etc in the last 2 months it is not good if you can not cook it. Not going to get much time now to bargain hunt for food deals though and i have spent more this past 2 days at Market basket than I would in 2 weeks at Shaws. have to try and get organised again. |
