Does anyone know the price of the Herbal Essence shampoo? It's B1G1 and there's a $2/2 Q expiring 11/30. Wondered if it was a decent deal to go w/the P&G catalina.

A couple of good deals on the P&G catalina. The B1G1 Herbal Essence shampoo is $4.29-thanks carminesgirl07. If you buy 6, use the $3/2 (expires today) along with the coupon from the Holiday book ($1/1) this is a money maker. For every 2 I bought, I used $5 in coupons. So they paid me ~$2 to buy the 6 shampoo; plus I got the $5 P&G catalina:plus I got the 5 Redbox codes. The Iams kitten food is an even better deal. The P&G coupon (again, this expires today) is for $5 off the kitten food which is $4.79 on sale; Plus there is a $1 coupon in the Holiday book. So I bought 4 bags; they paid me $1.21/bag and I got the catalina and 5 Redbox codes. Then I took the kitten food to the shelter on the way home. Plus my KMart is doing the $2 doubling and the cash registers worked perfectly so I got a ton of stuff free there also. |

Wow that's awesome! I didn't even really look too closely at the P&G stuff. I went today too and just got ground beef, chicken quarters and oatmeal.

| There are still $2/2 qs that havent expired. and there are $1/1 shaws qs in the holiday book. If you had 6 holiday books you could combine it with 3 $2/2s, pay something like a dollar and get the óyno

So I went last night to get the $1.99 ground beef at the Johnston store. They were out and wouldn't give rainchecks so I asked the girl to call N Providence and ask if they had any left before I drove there. The girl on the phone said they did so I drove right over there. Guess what - they didn't have any. I was pretty annoyed. So I went up to CS and told her what happened. She called the manager and I said I either wanted a raincheck or substitute it. The manager said she would give me a raincheck unless I wanted something else. I just wanted meat. So she said I could grab 2 packages of another kind - so I got the 93% meat and I got it for the $1.99. When I went back I wanted to ask the manager if I could get a raincheck for 4 more since there was no limit in the first place and usually a raincheck is given for 6. She wasn't there but the CS lady gave it to me!!! Another cashier came over while she was doing it and was like - you can't give a raincheck for that.... blah blah blah. It worked out fine, but the cashier that had walked over said they should have limited it. One Asian lady filled up a whole entire cart with meat!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I think it's rude to do that first of all, but it's shaws fault for not putting a limit on it. At least make people buy the 6 and come back in for more if they want it or something.

I wonder why they wouldn't give you a rain check in the first place? Did it say no rainchecks in the ad? I didn't notice if it did. I have never had them limit me on the rain check unless there was a limit in the ad. The warwick store actually gave me a rain check for 20 Green giant steamers (I asked for 13 since at the time thats how many coupons I had and he said "I can give you 20 if you want") |

wow!!! Yeah, when I first went to get the raincheck the girl said there was no limit but the ad did say while supplies last. so that's why they wouldn't do the raincheck! I think I've gotten a raincheck for 10 before but that was the max. I didn't want to push my luck with this one so the 4 was fine.

I ran in tonight to get pop tarts (My son wanted to buy some when we were there on Sunday but I didn't have the coupons). While I was there I found the clearance items and noticed the Muir Glen sauce. This reminded me that someone mentioned they got it on clearance. I couldn't find the price so I went back to the aisle where it normally is and it is 50% off! $1.99 so I got it for 99 cents with my coupons. They had a ton of it too. I will have to go back for more because I didn't have a cart. There were also peelies on the tomatos for $1/2 but they wern't on sale.

We like their blue corn and spicy blue corn chips. What I have tried in the wild Harvest line has been very good. Their vanilla and chocolate soy milk s also good.
