I shop at the Shaw's in Waterville. Pretty new at the couponing thing and they've been really nice so far with my questions

I just checked out the Shaw's in Medfield MA yesterday. I got $36.00 off. I used a $10 CAT, a $5 competitor's coupon from The Big Y, The Stop and Shop 5/15 for meat and 16 Kellogg's cereal coupons. When I got home, I realized that I had forgotten to give the cashier the 5 for 5coupon for Pepsi. But I stop by there today on my way home and they took the coupon and gave me my 6 dollars. I also live near a Cumbies that has Shaw's gas, so I got 10cents off/ gallon. Good Week. Il love Shaws.

You can use competitor coupons at Shaws?? Wow...I didn't know that! Is that an individual store policy thing or at Shaw's all over?

I think it may vary slightly depending on what they consider a competitor. I have used Stop and Shop coupons at my Shaws and I know people who have a Hannaford have been able to use their coupons at Shaws. I think someone posted they tried to use a Target coupon but were not able to. You could always ask at the service desk next time you are in.

It's certainly worth asking. I have 4 Shaw's near me and each of them has a slightly different policy. I started writing them down on cards in my coupon book. Shaw's and Stop and Shop around here take other store dollar off Q's and doublers. They don't take other Q's like free bread etc. The doublers are great because I have a couple of friends who give me theirs. If they're from the Big Y I can use one set there, one set at Shaws and one set at Stop and Shop. sweet. Sue

They just recently closed the East Side Brockton MA Shaw's after 20+ years which means I have to go across the city to the West Side location now

I shop at the Fort Eddy one sometimes...but mostly at the other one in Concord up on Loudon rd. (by the mall), it is closer to me, and bigger

I shop mostly at the Loudon Rd Shaws too. I have to go to the Citizens Bank at the Fort Eddy Shaws for work so if I need something during the week I will pick it up there. I also troll the aisles while I'm there to see if there are any tearpads LOL. The Loudon Rd Shaws seems to no have as many tearpads for some strange reason.

Waterville Shaw's is my favorite, but I live closer to Augusta and work in Lewiston. Lewiston Shaw's is the absolute worst store I've EVER been in.
