I think that anyone is entitled to believe what they choose but, how can you "talk" to past love ones? Where are they if you can talk to them?

They are alive as we are, made of energy like us, but without the body. I communicate with them with special abilities that I have, I am able to hear, see and feel them around me where most people are not that sensitive. (which is probably good, you can imagine it is a bit overwhelming to be this aware of everything)

I am different from many psychics or mediums in that I am a survival evidence medium. Your loved ones show and tell me evidence about who they were, names, dates, how they passed, all sorts of facts, then they tell me things they see you are doing in your life to prove they are still "with" you even in Spirit form. At the end of the reading they give me messages for you, things they want you to know or tell you.

As for "where" as in time or space exactly they are, I have been told that the world of Spirit, or Heaven surrounds us but is another dimension we can't perceive. I am open to the idea, but I know they are often actually here, right here on earth because I see and feel them here. I don't think they live here though, they just come back to visit the people they care about.

Hope that helps....I try to remain open to all ideas, the only thing I know for an absolute fact is they aren't dead and gone and they do talk to me giving me verifiable evidence.

My grandmother visits us at my mom's house. Right after she passed at 98, she took the mirror off of her old dresser, reversed it and placed it, unbroken on the floor, mirror down with the top facing the dresser. There was no one in the house at the time it happened and nothing else had been disturbed. Another time, my daughter's talking riding horse said, "Don't talk to strangers." It had never done that before and hasn't done it since. Weird but true.

Wow, Alexia, that is really neat. I hear stories like this often, but it always amazes every time! Loved ones will do anything to let you know the relationship and connection is not lost or over. I'm interested in knowing if someone is around my DD but I'm also scared of knowing. I know the dead can't hurt us. My DD is always pointing at empty chairs and sofas around the house asking me "who is that?" She is very certain someone is there eventhough there isn't.

When I am demonstrating in front of a large group of people I start by inviting someone in Spirit to communicate with me. They tell me if they are a man or woman and other details, like how they passed, when, their name, or the name of the person they want to speak to, thing like that. There will be one or two members of the audience how understand what I am saying, so then I ask the person in Spirit who it is they want to communicate with and I get pulled like a magnet to that person.

I don't have the ability to just "call" someone. When I do a reading, I just open up and allow those in Spirit who need to speak to you to do so. There are usually people that you have not thought about for years that are really anxious to get a message to you, or to their family. It's different every time. The people you most want to hear from are there too, but they often step back for a few minutes until a few of the ones who have been waiting longest finish communicating.

Children are very psychic and aware. They see things others can't. Pets too, by the way. There is nothing to be afraid of. I'm sure it's a relative just looking in on you and enjoying the playfulness of your daughter! They love that! All of my readings with the passed talk about the grandkids and how fun they are!

Sure. You really have to have things happen to you to be open to the idea of the spirit world. I'm glad for the experiences I have had and have found it quite comforting.

I'm a little psychic, too. Not much help, though. I think of people that I haven't talked to in a while and they call me. I knew my friend was pregnant and that it wouldn't work out, this time (sad). And I think of movie titles and then serendipitously I find them on tv. My husband calls me a walking TV guide. LOL! Just a beacon of information, I am.

I don't know exactly what constitutes being a physic or medium or even if I believe or don't but I do know that I reach for the phone almost every time BEFORE it rings. I don't even think about it as it has become second nature to me.

It's funny that alexia mentioned the T.V. thing, that happens to me too!

EVERY single time I go to delete someone in my phonebook on my cell (because we no longer talk or I don't recall the name and number) I will get a call from that person within 24 hours.

yet I loose EVERYTHING and never know where I put them.

A psychic is a person who can connect with your energy and get details abut situations in your life. They connect with your energy. A medium is a person who can connect with the energy of a person who doesn't have the body anymore. Not all psychics are mediums, it is a truly different thing. However, all mediums are psychic.

What you all are explaining about the phone is a perfect example of how we all communicate on a spiritual or energetic level. I will be doing dishes (or clipping coupons, whatever) and randomly start thinking about someone I know. A few minutes later they will call or email. We connect by telepathy like that. How about mother's that know something is wrong with their child?

When you get a random thought that just pops into your head of a passed loved one, they are most likely nearby in energetic form, sending you thoughts and love. That is how I do what I do. I am able to "hear" those thoughts clearly and tell the person I am reading for what I hear. I'm just a telephone or translator! I used to think I was just a little kooky "hearing" these things, but now I know that it is communication. (still a little nuts over coupons though )

So glad I am around on Mondays. It's my day to wade out of the sea of coupons and the aftermath of Kmart double day...LOL. I didn't even know this thread about sharing talents existed until I stumbled into last night. This is a great discussion, glad to hear about everyone's experiences.

My mom was killed in January and I feel and hear her all the time. I do believe our loved ones are around & that some of us are able to communicate with them and they are listening, helping to guide us and are with us.

When my daughter was 1&1/2 years old she had a hemispherectomy (1/2 her brain removed) after the surgeon finished he came out to tell us she was doing great and I saw a halo floating over his head, it followed him right thru the doorway ducking to enter the room floating over his head. It was amazing.

We watch the show Medium too! Not sure how realistic that is though

P.s. She is going to be 11yrs old 4/26 and is doing awesome

Wednesday, that is very cool what you saw over the doc's head. I see similar lights and energy around some people. Safe to say he was your angel! I'm glad your daughter is doing well. I have a sister named Wendy we called Wednesday...LOL A brother Bill we called Pugsly. It was the Adams family era!

I don't think the show Medium is very realistic. At least, it's not at all the way my gift works, might be for someone else though. The only part I could relate to was her dreams and how she meets people and gets info in her dreams. That happens all the time to me. As for gory people walking around half burnt down houses...well, not so much, LOLOL! That's just Hollywood.

In our house it's my husband & I , 2 sons, daughter and a cousin. My husband, me, youngest son have never seen this spirit that is in this house but my oldest son and cousin have seen him. (daughter wasn't born yet when the last time they saw him) They told me it is a little boy who looks just like my youngest son except he is in a white suit. when they try to talk to him he disappears.

I do believe there are spirits among us because I was driving down a highway and saw someone riding a bicycle in the middle of the road and when i reached it it disappeared.

LOL! No Heebie Jeevies allowed! You won't disturb anyone, I assure you. They are always right there, ready and and waiting to say . If there is another thing I've learned is, one of the "jobs" we have when we get to Heaven or the place we go, is that we still look after our family and loved ones here on earth. .

Well, since ya don't wanna talk to them you never know what they'll say when they see you now They've seen you all long though, it's only you that can't see them. They are completely aware of their loved ones. They always tell me things that have happened in your life since they've passed and talk about things you are doing now, (Billy has a soccer game) and what's coming up...not a prediction, but for example last week I was communicating with a woman's father and he said to me, "She is going to the dentist". Her appointment was in 12 hours...LOL....they only say things things to prove to you, without a doubt, that they are still aware of you and didn't lose touch, or the loving connection.

You will see your loved ones again!
