 My Son's New Interest - An AFullCup.Com Rap
My 15 y/o has ADHD and was recently put on a new medication and dosage... big changes in him... reading lots for long periods of time, writing lyrics (rap) and just focusing on things he didn't do so much a month ago. Now he'd rather read a book than stare at the TV... it's a nice change! Anyway, yesterday he rapped a song he wrote... it had me rolling!! So funny! He was thrilled at my response... which, I have to admit... is not usually that response. I find the constant beat boxing rather annoying and usually don't want to hear it. (Bad... I know... but it's just like fingers on a chalk board to me!) Anyway... because I was laughing so hard and he loved my response, he said: "I'm going to write a rap about AFullCup.Com!" I said... go for it! He did and yesterday he rapped it for me and I said I'm going to record it and use it to promote AFC... he let me!! SURPRISED ME! He is actually pretty shy... so when he agreed I really couldn't believe it. I've posted it on our MySpace pages, Facebook and YouTube so far... plan on putting it many other places as well. I think this is the cutest thing!!! He did a wonderful job and I really like how he would say "We" instead of like saying you did, as in he was involved... Tell him I think he is really talented!

Jordan, you are so handsome and sweet. The rap song was great, loved the rhymes. My 15 year old son, who has a music biz, says "get a little more attitude into it" but he loved the way you rhymed and pulled in all the details. Werd. |
