| doubles policy changed at my store this week
My new ad states double coupons up to 40 cents, limit 15 coupons. Last week it was double up to 50 cents, .51-.99 redeemed for $1. No limit stated. I don't shop their much, and when I did it was only for the sale items I had coupons for. I think I am done with them, unless they change it back. Did this happen at all the stores this week or just in Peoria, IL? |

I'd say you were lucky before. The new policy at your store has always been the policy at mine. I wonder if they are making a more uniform policy for all stores.

Ohh I guess I was lucky then. Can you still find good deals? My Krogers doubles up to .50 cents, no limit. I hope they don't change their policy. Then I won't know where to shop.

Yes, there are still good deals although I'm sure you won't think so since you've been getting better deals up until now. If you can get better deals at Kroger, shop there! I sure wish I had one. I've heard they have some really good deals.

I'm just glad they're not like Dierbergs, where they only double up to 3 (or is it 4?) of the same coupon per trip.

alright, never mind they changed it back this week. Maybe they got the wrong inserts for a different schnucks that only doubles up to 40 cents. It is back as double up to 50 cent, .51-.99 redeemed at 1.00. I doubt it even changed in the registers last week, but I didn't go to find out.

You are lucky! Mine only doubles up to 40 cents, they will only let you use fifteen coupons total and only two of the same coupon! I hate it but you really can't argue since they have it printed on a huge poster when you walk in the door. It is the reason I always self check out |

Washington MO store still doubles up to .50. I'd be upset if they changed to .40. I get a lot of freebies on their dollar deals. They will also let me use more than 2 of each Q, but only 15 double per trip.

That's the policy now with Schnucks and Dierbergs. Dbl up to 40¢ and Dierbergs only allows 3 identical coupons

Like everyone said, our local Schnucks only doubles to 40 cents. I think the reason some Schnucks were doubling up to 50 cents was because there are Kroger stores nearby. They probably did it to remain competitive with them. Since there are no Kroger stores near me, they don't have to compete with Kroger so it's only double to 40 cents. And the only reason they're probably doing that is because Dierbergs doubles to 40 cents, so they're still trying to compete with them.

We do have a Krogers about a block away from schnucks, that probably is why they double up to 50 cents. They do beat Krogers with the .51-.99 redeemed at $1. That is my favorite part. I wish Krogers would try to outdo them. I want one of those Krogers that doubles up to $1, and triples up to .35 or whatever it is. I also wish schnucks still had triple coupon days, that was the best.

The competition thing with Kroger does make sense. I wish a store near me would start doubling higher than $.40 so that Schnucks would too.
