Be careful with the timing of your receipt transmissions. I just had one rejected (my first rejection! ) because I put the item in my cart AFTER I had gone shopping. It said that the manufacturer requires the selection prior to purchasing. This wouldn't work well if you did back to back transactions of the same items.

I think they're starting to clamp down a little on the rules so just a heads up.

Speaking of rejections all of mine were because I didn't follow directions I added the qs onto my cart after I did my shopping ugh

I received this email today. I wonder if mine are slow to be approved because of pic quality? they make ya hold still quite a while till it clicks.

"We apologize if you have been experiencing any delays in processing. We
are moving as fast as we can to handle your receipts in a timely manner.
Until then we are not accepting new members. Should you know someone who

You can help us to promptly process your submissions by doing the following:

1) Take care to snap a good picture. Look at the video tutorial for tips.
2) Only select the offers you intend to use.
3) After each submission, please clear your shopping cart and select the
offers you intend to use next time.
4) Do not submit duplicate receipts.
5) Make sure you snap enough pictures to capture the entire receipt. We
have rejected a number of CVS receipts because we could not see the time
and date at the bottom of the receipt.

Important: Some offers will expire and be replaced with new offers at
1:00AM EST Wednesday January 4. Please make sure all your submissions are
in before the expiration time.

Coffeewench, I got the same email. I am sure I added stuff to the cart before purchasing but removed it after submitting the receipt in preparation for my next transaction. I think the thing to do with this app is to not touch it until your receipt clears. After that, prepare for your next transaction. That is how I will handle it if I ever get the app back, !

I downloaded it as soon as this post went up, or very close to it! Still no Paypal, but my amounts have been verified as $3, which is what I calculated... At least the last shopping trip.

I believe from what I can infer, the manufacturers are "paying" us. It's like saving star. I'm sure the manufacturers are trying different means (Facebook, apps, printables, etc) to see what is used most or what the trends of recent Couponing are. I love all the new apps/sites/ways to get extra cash, even if I have to wait a little bit!

Quazel, yeah, I'm going to be a lot more cautious in between receipt submissions. I like it when the computer auto-finds it, it makes it so much easier!

I just hope that when they tweak the app they add a flash option to the camera. I'm out and about all day and when I get home at night I try to add in any receipts that might have a qualifying purchase--but it's so dark! And iphones do not like low light. They come out a LOT better with a flash.

You're basically (by virtue of clicking the coupon into your cart) telling the computer which products to search for on your reciept. Once it finds it, it deletes it from your cart. This process takes a bit of time, especially if the computer misses it and you have to manually enter it.

It has it's glitches, but overall it's been VERY WORTH IT.

oh crappola! I deselected my items from the cart myself but "after" I submitted the receipt! I didn't realize it would be done by Mobi. whaaaa

I believe earlier in the post mobisteve said that this is app is similar to saving star but for users who don't have store cards. I live in NM so our stores don't have shopper cards, which sucks when I find good coupons that are to be loaded on a store card!!

I actually did the same thing about not reading the directions before uploading receipts! So lesson learned!!

Yay, another app to add to my Shopping folder when I get my iPhone! I had an iPhone 4 and then got a Samsung Galaxy Nexus a few weeks ago (and jumped the gun by selling my iPhone right away) but I miss my iPhone so I just ordered the 4S today.

I used the same email associated with my paypal, but I have checked my paypal account and my bank account linked with my paypal and NOTHING! I have submitted two receipts now and both were approved and now it says my lifetime savings is $6.00. HELP PLEASE!!!

Allisonhead it takes about 48 hrs to hit your paypal account after it's approved.

And I just submitted a receipt that should pay me back $6 BUT I deselected the items from my cart after I uploaded everything!! You're not supposed to do it yourself??? I swear I read that once you're done you deselect and then select for what you're going to buy on your next shopping trip! I'm gonna be very disappointed if I just ruined my $6 savings!!!!

It took 48 hours from when I got the approval until when it showed up in Paypal for me. I got a few rejections for submitting two receipts for the same item too close together, so I'm learning to wait between sending receipts But I love the idea of this app! Yay MobiSave!

I think we are all a little off on the timing. We need MobiSteve to explain, ! I did exactly what you did and then got an email saying I had selected after making the purchase. I had selected before making the purchase but after I uploaded my receipt I then deselected and reselected to prepare for my next transaction. I think we need some timing clarification. We may not be able to unselect until the receipt is processed. If so, it will cut down on doing transactions on the same day and earning Mobi-bucks. Still a great app though. I'll take what I can get!!

I must say the timing thing is throwing me off too. Have had both successful matches and rejections in the last few days. Felt kinda bummed that support said I didn't have receipt items in my cart when I truly had them the day before prior to going shopping. That's why I'm kinda hesitant to de-select any choices from my cart now. Some kind of log history to show selection/de-selection time would have been helpful.

Also seems like quite a few of my submissions need to be reviewed by support. Maybe it's due to snapshot quality issue. Will try to send better snaps next time with bigger picture and see if that helps speed the matching process a little bit.

I think as a pp has noted, that the best way to go about things with this app is to wait to submit your next trip until the first has been processed. I think it will cut down on a lot of issues.

At least this is how I plan on using the app. I think it will still allow for multiple trips in a day. Just not back to back trips in the same visit.

We've received a few invoices from online grocers. The challenge has been the size but we've been able to read them. Take care to try and get a good snap, not too far back and without shadows. Take as many snaps as you need.

I'm confident we can handle it.
