For those living in the Pacific Northwest Save-A-Lot will be giving away the following on 2/28 from 8am until noon to the first 4000 shoppers:

1 package of Pasta
1 Jar of sauce
2 cans of veggies
1 package of bread sticks.

I know its not alot but it is a free dinner! If you can use the food but have a store near you consider picking up the items and donating them to a local food bank.

I saw this on another blog... there is a coupon you have to download and print. I did it, before noticing the fine print of the locations participating. I cant remember them, but only about 4-5. Anyways, because I "registered" I got an email from someone at Save A Lot- they want to send me a $5 q for anything in the store as a thank- you-for-registering-,sorry-your-area-isn't-participating-thing. WHOO WHOO! Free groceries!

Check it out. I'll see if I can locate the link to register for the q. Its basically everything you need to make a spaghetti dinner- noodles, sauce, breadsticks, and I think 2 cans of veggies, all for free- if its in your area.

I registered for this before I realized that it wasn't available in my area. This morning I got an email asking for my mailing address. They say they want to send me a $5 coupon good for any of their stores since the promotion isn't running in my area! Did this happen to anyone else?

My store said 1st 1000 vouchers only. Thankfully when I got there this morning there were only about 50 people ahead of me. Also they are giving a $5 off a future $20 purchase coupon to you at checkout.
