I noticed that the only time I have been to Tom Thumb that they only double one like doubling coupon. I thought that was odd, but I don't shop there enough to worry about it!

I don't shop there either. Last Nov. was the last time I stepped foot in one. Sales just aren't there for me! But this one I was not going to pass up. Bacon is even cheaper there this week than Kroger!! And Kroger's Oscar Meyer hotdogs were ucking looking yesterday when I stopped by! Pale and old looking. Which really surprised me!!

Actually When you go to the Tom Thumb link it sends you to the Safeway area because Safeway owns Tom Thumb. Most of their sales are the same even though the store names are different. If you notice in Tom Thumb their store brand is Safeway Select.

Good deal. I went to safeway yesterday to get my oscarmyer hotdogs and they had it. It seems like they jacked up the price because 2 12 packs were $5.99 each so in the end it was buy 5 for $11.98 which is more than the standard 5 for $10 at other places. I used some peelies for the Dr. Pepper which helped. On the plus side you can mix and match the coke and pepsi products instead of having to just buy either coke or pepsi. I want to know who pays $5.99 for soda, that's insane.

The hot dogs had a Safeway coupon from their ad for 3/$3 in my area.
