Has anyone done this and used the $5 cat on NON "team snack items (i.e, items not in this deal)?
Someone said on another board that you should be able to, but I want to know before I do the deal.

I tried to use this the last time Safeway ran this deal and the register did not want it to go through. The head cashier ended up pushing this through because the wording on the promo was vauge, however they seem to have fixed the wording this time around so I think they have covered themselves this time.

I did this deal friday and use my $5.00 cat yesterday to buy 20 libby veggies they are 20 for $10.00 use my cat paid $5.00 oop no problems at all ...this is a great deal if you have coupon's but I did not ...
