To make an update on this... you actually save more money if you buy 4 cereal boxes, two being the Nature Valley Cereal (didn't at first realize this was apart of the deal) and use two of those internet printed coupons (first one doubled) and then get two different qualifying cereals to use that $1 off/2 cereals coupon... that way your total is only 80c for 4 boxes of cereal... that's 20c per box! Better steal!

Has anyone had trouble with the double coupons at vons lately? I went to vons about two weeks ago and the cashier told me they do not double coupons that say for example: .50 cents off when you purchase two items. and also they do not double any coupons that are worth 1.50 or more, they just discount the amount indicated on the coupon and also if the coupon is worth $1.00, they just give you the dollar off not double.

I was real bumed out, I wanted to just leave everything there, but I felt so embarrrased, I had a long line behind me and my family wiht me, I just went ahead and paid, I didn't want to put my family through such a drama and embarrasement.

Does any one know what the new rules are at VONS as far as double couponing?

How sad!!!!! I'm so sorry for you!!! Are there any other VONS stores in your area that may be different? I work for VONS as a cashier, and we are still doubling, but I'm in San Diego... it may be different for each area. I would be SOOOOO bummed out though!!! You won't get any amazing deals like normal if they won't double your coupons! You should try writing to the company how expensive life is and you have always shopped at your local VONS due to the double coupons to help your family save money... it wouldn't hurt at least. Sorry to hear about that! Nooooo bueno!!!
