Tom Thumb Score $5, Living Well $10 and Movie Deal

I just got back from Tom Thumb and at the checkout received a $5 cat for the Score Snacks deal, a $10 cat for the Living Well deal and 2 free movie tickets on the Spiderman Movie deal. I did spend $23, but I did buy some expensive things I would not normally buy like Starbucks beans @ $7.99 only because it is included in the $10 deal and we love this coffee. My total was $55 before coupons.

The good news: the capri sun works for both the movie deal and the Score $5 deal. The Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks and the Nature Valley Granola Bars work for both the Movie deal and the Living Well deal. I bought 5 Capri Sun, 3 Betty Crocker Snacks and 2 Nature Valley Granolar Bars and got the movie tickets and the $5. Then I mixed in other items to get to $30 for the Living Well! The movie deal is 1 per household. I do have 2 older children (+ 2 younger still at home) who have their own place, so I'll take them shopping or use their cards and do it again. You will be able to do much better than $23, I just bought some higher priced items.

The Powerade is $1.25 this week, was $1 last week, works for the Living Well deal, there are $1/2 coupons out there, store tear pads. There are different denomonations of Capri Sun coupons, and I printed coupons from boodle for the Betty Crocker snacks and Nature Valley Granola Bars.

Lets hear your combinations for good deals!

When I saw the ad this a.m. I knew there had to AT LEAST be a double dip with the Spiderman/Living Well, but didn't have time to figure it because I've had the stomach virus. Thanks for taking the time to type that up. I'm going in the a.m. if I feel better, and will let y'all know what I did!

Here's what I ended up doing, but it could've been better. There was quite a few things I needed/wanted, and was willing to pay a little bit extra to get them. This is a good time to use those $5, $2, or $3 coupons from the Pepsi/Frito Lay rebate back in January!
LWFG=Living Well
TS=Team Snack
S3=Spiderman 3 tix

5 Capri Sun @ 1.75 each (used five .55 coupons)S3, LWFG
2 Gatorades @ 1.00 (no coupon)LWFG
2 Diet Mountain Dew 12 pks. @ 3.00 each ($5 off any Pepsi product coupon LWFG
4 Betty Crocker fruit snacks @ 1.66 each (used two .50/2 coupons, first one doubled)S3, TS, LWFG
1 Caribou Coffee Bars @ 2.33 (.50 off that doubles)LWFG
2 Nature Valley Granola Bars @ 2.33 each (.50/2 that doubles)S3, TS, LWFG
2 Del Monte green beans @ .69 each (.45/2 on the label of the cans)LWFG
2 Lipton tea bags @ 1.04 (.50 each, first one doubles)LWFG
1 Mission tortilla @ 2.50 (.55 off blinkie)LWFG
1 Dial hand wash @ 1.50 (.35 that tripled)LWFG
1 Tone hand wash @ 1.50 (.35 that tripled)LWFG
1 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner @ 2.00 (.50 that doubled)LWFG

Total=$43.54
After coupons=$26.24
Used $10 OYNO from doing the deal last week
Paid $16.24

This deal could be done much better by going for the lower priced items.

Still a good deal though. If you had picked up a few other items though, you could have used the $10/$50 TT coupon from the Enjoy the City books and gotten more / spent less.

I know, I know... comments from the peanut gallery....
