I looked up the blog she thanked and it said "This promotion runs through 10/3 and was advertised in the 9/27 SS."

I also looked up the upcoming Q's for the week and there's a Kleenex one! It says: Kleenex Facial Tissue .50 on 3 boxes or one bundle pack (11-30-09)

I bought a Denver Post while we were in Colorado Springs Sunday, but did not see an ad in the SS for this. Got home Monday and our Arizona Republic does not have it either.

I did the transactions 6 times on different days. Buy 3 @ .99 each, I got catalina $1 off 4 kleenex box and $3 toward your next purchase. After the 1st transactions, I have been buying :

4 boxes (110 sheets) @ .99 = $ 3.96
Less $1 catalina Q
Total + tax = $3.20
Use $3 off catalina Q
Pay 0.20 for 4 boxes of Kleenex

The $3 catalina beeped though and the cashier have to override it.

I took up one box and asked her to ring up 3 to see if the Cat printed (it did with the $1 off 4) so I told her I would be back with the other 2 boxes she rang up. It was $3.22. When I came back with 5, she saw what was happening. Tthe next time when I used the $3 coupon it only gave me $1.19 off not $3 so the cashier (who I know) price overrode for $1.81 and that made the total $.07. I will be donating some to the church and also may restock the office!

Kleenex deal is not dead, only the $3 cat prints now though. The original ad for this deal was shown in the insert, and the end date of 10/3 was for the shown product prices. My store has the 110-ct. boxes tagged 99¢ through Jan. 2010. It is unknown the actual end date for the buy 3+ get $3 deal.

I did this deal today and it worked! I used the $3 coupon right away and didn't check to see if it showed how long the deal lasted. Anyone know how long this deal is good until?

I also did this deal 5 times today in OR, the kleenex was $0.99, and there were blinkie qs in the same aisle, and out came $3 cat! I'll try again tomorrow, I still have 4 more qs...I bought an apple and an orange with the extra $0.50 w/ each transaction...
