I am from Indiana and we do not have Safeway Stores. I will be taking my daughter to a hospital program in Baltimore Maryland in the end of October for two months and I need to know the ins and outs of Safeway stores. I didn't see anything in the sticky about whether or not they double coupons and what their rules are. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Find out the zip code to Baltimore and do a search on safeway.com for there local ad and see if they double. My store doesn't double but everytime I see the preview for the upcoming weeks ad on AFC it's stated on the ad somewhere about the doubles. It kills me to see it b/c its the exact same ad as mine but with out the doubles part!

I am sure someone local will give you more recent advice, but when growing up in Northern Virginia, Safeway did not double. Otherwise, I don't know anything special about them or their coupon policies. When they have coupons in their ad, or on their website, you can use a MQ with the store coupon.

I am in NW Baltimore county (zip code 21117) and our Safeways double up to .99 and also take IPs (but not for free items) so long as they scan - they will not push through IPs that don't scan, at least at my store. I am not sure how many of like coupons they will accept, I have used 6-8 same MCs in past in single order without a problem. If you want to check a zip code in the city can try 21236-this covers the harbor/federal hill area where I used to live. Also when on Safeway site be sure to check their printable coupons. Also if you are in town and looking to travel a bit Harris Teeter has been having some awsome super doubles or triples about once a month - there is a store in Columbia MD - only thing is can only do 20 Qs per day.
