I was wondering if anyone has ever had problems redeeming printed internet coupons that were b&w.

A really coupon has a watermark no matters if in color or B/W. If anyone ever q's you tell them to look at that. Watermarks will not copy or scan

Sometimes checkers will question IPs but it's only because they're uneducated about them. A while back IPs weren't accepted at some stores, but were at others. The company didn't have an "official" policy on them so it was left up to the individual store managers. Now, IPs can be printed at safeway.com and a policy has been put in place.

If you're ever hassled about them, just mention that you printed it off of Safeway's website, but don't mind waiting for them to ask a manager. If the Store Manager denies you then I would tell him/her that they need to brush up on current policies and then find somewhere else to shop. I've encountered these managers and you're just not going to ever get through to them that you're not stealing from them....that's apparently what they think sometimes.

Thanks for the advise. I haven't had a problem yet but sometimes I get weird looks as if the cashier has never seen a coupon before!
