Safeway BOGO policy

I posted a similar question a while ago on the Couponing 101 thread, but this is specific to Safeway. In one of the emails I had sent to me, this was in the fine print..."On Buy One, Get One Free ("BOGO") offers, customer must purchase the first item to receive the second item free. BOGO offers are not 1/2 price sales. If only a single item purchased, the regular price applies. Manufacturers' coupons may be used on purchased items only - not on free items. Limit one coupon per purchased item."
So, can I use a BOGO coupon along with a store BOGO?

I have had no problems using BOGO coupons on BOGO sales. Of course each store regulates their own coupon policies and they do have the right to deny the use of the coupon.

When Safeway had Sierra Mist 2-Liter bottles on sale B3G3F I had coupons from the Olympic brochure that were B1G1F so I would use 3 of those coupons and get 6 bottles of Sierra Mist for free so yes you can use those BOGO coupons with the Store BOGO coupon or store ad for sure. I had a blast getting free bottles of 2-Liter Sierra Mist. DH drinks way too much of that stuff so I stocked him up good and he doesn't seem to ever run out.

YMMV - Your Mile May Vary !!!

Mine will not allow 2 coupons with BOGO deals.
