I am so excited about this deal that I literally jumped for joy! I have a hard time finding good deals on tp, so this is such a delight!

Ok so the math goes like this:
This week's ad has Cottonelle for $4.99 in ad q (limit 2)

$4.99 in ad q x2= $9.98
minus 2 $2.00 off blinkies=$ 4
=$5.98
AND you get back $2.00 in catalina!!

Total is $1.99 per pack of 12 double rolls!!

P.S. I'm not sure if the catalina is regional or not, but it works for us Nor Cal folks!!! Ahhhh!!! I'm still sooooo happy!

I am so excited. I met friends for dinner and went into the Safeway near the restaraunt- I found blinkies. I felt like the blinkie stalker for a few minutes to get 6 coupons. They didn't have any TP so I was just waiting for the blinkie to spit another coupon.... I need to get a life- to be so happy about a stockpile worthy price on TP and a great glass of red wine in one evening....

i did this today and checker was shocked I got a $2 catalina too. Viva paper towel 6 pack is on sale too and there is a $2 blinkie cpn next to it too. Does any one know if you get a blinkie from it too? They both are kleenex products? I will most likely try tomorrow only paper towels we use is Viva. thanks

It works great in Maryland. I got two in the morning and two this afternoon. I am going back for two more tonight. You have to have at least $10 in purchases to use the Safeway $4.99 coupon. Here is what I did -- Most of you know that the Electrosol Quantamatic is at 2 for $10. If you were lucky enough to get the $3/1 tear pad, this makes for a great deal. I bought two of the Cottonelle, 2 of the Quantamatic and 1 Mentos. I first handed the $4.99 Safeway Q, then used 2 $2/1 Coupons for Cottonelle and 2 $3/1 quantamatic Qs and finally $1/1 of the Mentos. My OOP was $10.25 and I got back $2 CAT for Cottonelle and a $2 CAT for Quantamatic. I plan to repeat the same transaction tonight. Thanks to all who posted about these two deals. I am not sure what it is about cheap TP but it sure puts a smile on my face.

In CA I did not need to purchase anything above the 2 TP in a single transaction. 9.98 was close enough for my cashier and the Safeway coupon took off $2 each without any questions.
