I am so sad. I was informed by one of the cashiers that the manager who special ordered for me is no longer with RA. The cashiers were told that he quit. I don't buy that because he has been with them for 15 years since before they were RA when they were osco's and brooks. And his wife just had a baby so he wouldn't just leave. I don't get it. Sales were up for this store, employees were happy. I'm not looking forward to see who takes over. Not sure they will special order for me. I am going to try and find another store. But I so want to call corporate and complain for them letting him go. But, can't becuase I am not supposed to know. Who ever was in charge wasn't thinking right.

bummer! hopefully you can get to know the new person and things will stay the same. they shifted people around here too, one of my faves left to go to another store so we got a new manager, shes just OK. no issues with her, just not as fun to chat with. YET..hopefully she'll get to know me.

No this guy is completely gone. But, the district manager for the store closest to me. Gave me the managers name and told me go talk with him. That he would special order for me. But, i liked this one manager. He had everyone in check.

Same thing happened at my store! An employee told me he was "dismissed." He was a GREAT manager! He'd been at the store forever! I don't get it. I don't even want to shop there because of it. I'll just take my money to CVS. :-/

If the tide wasn't such a good deal this week I wouldnt be shopping there. AS a side note. I spoke with the manager that was let go. He told me that he is interviewing for the cvs right down the street and would be recurting all the employees and customers if he gets the job. I told him just let me know. I would be there.

Sadly That is the name of the game in retail. My husband was a retail manager for years! If he was with the store for 15 years and as good as you say he was he was probably capped out as far as salary goes. What is the incentive for staying in a job if you are never gonna get more of a pay increase. One of my bestest friends brother in-laws was a manager for Rite aid and he left for this reason. Good co. to work for but no incentive to stay. Hopefully the new manager will help you out

the assistant manager who has been with rite aid since when it was osco and brooks. Sad that as long as she is there. I will still be able to get what I want. But that doesn't change when the new manager comes in.
