I haven't been to my RA for months now, and I don't know if they've updated their cash registers to accept the new GS1 databar coupon barcodes (knowing them, they probably haven't...)

Do they scan at your RA store? I'm going to RA tomorrow and am a little bit nervous!

Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Same RA, same coupon. I think the registers have multiple personality disorder.

my store has one register that is really good at scanning the coupons, it'll take probably about 95% of them. most of the time if I am not rung up on that register it'll beep "no matching item" with about 50% of them, including the ones that will work at the other register. Luckily my store is great at pushing them through if they beep. I always feel bad but my store's manager says "it's not your fault they don't work" and happily enters them manually.

One register at my store scans them beeplessly, at all the others they have to be entered in manually.

Bummer. The IPs I brought in today wouldn't scan. The manager was the one who checked me out and he said that if coupons don't scan, he can't accept them. He even tried on three different registers but none of them would work. I'm so frustrated because I lost out on quite a bit of money! :/ I miss the old barcodes...

That's not right, since it is the register's fault! My RA manager laughs because the IP's scan fine, but not the MQ's from the inserts...one MQ beeped that I had cut off the Always box I bought previously to buy another Always!

Mine does, they got some kind of corporate update for their registers.

I get lots of beeps, but I've noticed the same problem with insert MQs, it is weird that they beep but the IPs do a little better
