So does that mean the coupon isn't good at all this week? Hopefully they have another 2/$1 sale then (head explodes). This is just one reason I don't like RA, unfortunately we have moved and the closest CVS is several miles away and RA is down the road.

On the plus side, all the RA cashiers at this store have big smiles on their faces and take coupons cheerfully.

Well, not exactly. Some people can use it by buying 3 or 4, some can't. I list all the coupons in the event someone is able to use it. Since you have happy cashiers, you may be able to use it. I have a bunch of Cashieristas at most of my RA's. I'd only be able to pull it off with ONE of them. Thankfully, CVS is right across the street.

$25 UPS: $2.60 for 20 laundry detergent (of course I would probably have to split it between the two stores)

Maybe suave, or the aleve deal, colgate, samy fat foam use $12UPS get $12UPS.


Would this be an ok deal? I'm going to see if next weeks ad forecast is up.

I was thrilled for this week because of the chance to get even money back for Ups with the SCR on the mini drops and Clorox. I would recommend doing the mini drops and Clorox this week. That will turn $11 in Ups into $11 in cash with very little OOP for tax (just on the Clorox in NY). That sill leaves you with $27 to do the detergent deal. I dont know the details of that deal but I am guessing that you get $25 back in Ups given the way you have it written out. If that isnt the case and doing that deal would leave you Up-less then I wouldnt do the SCR if it were me.

Do i just type the receipt information into the rite aid rebate area and once I'm done for the week I can request the check? As long as the SCR items are listed on the receipt I should get the money? I've seen the rebate area on RA's site but this would be my first time working with SCRS.

SCRs are the most amazing thing ever, . It's for the whole month though, not a week, so you have to wait a bit to get your money back. You type in the info on the website. You can only get one check per address, but can use multiple cards to buy the items. They have an SCR book usually by the weekly ads, on average I get $10 a month from RA in SCRs.

If I was you, I wouldn't blow all my UPs on the soap, keep a few UPs for next week in case a deal pops up, worst case scenario you buy some stuff that doesn't go on q deal often so you don't let them expire. That's just me though. I hate being UP-less

Yes, that is all you do - it is very easy!
But don't request your check right away. You want to wait until the month is over because if you request it at the end of the week and other SCR opportunities come up the following week, you won't be able to take advanage of them. You may only request the check once during the rebate period, so I always wait until it is comletely over. If you forget to request it, they will automatically mail it to you. Some people enter every RA receipt they have, just in case they are eligible for an SCR they didn't realize. Once, I found a reciept on the ground outside my RA and entered it when I got home and got like $4 because some other shopper bought a bunch of batteries!

This is a slow way to get your money back (you won't see it again for 5-6 weeks), and as you said, it may suck your UPs dry. The nice thing is, you can deposit the check into your bank account or take it to the store and use it to pay for items just as you would do with UPs!

You can still do just 2 of the Clorox, use 2 0.50 coupons from Facebook. Pay 2.76, get $3 back. That is what I did. The B2G1 coupon is for those that have the fancy subscription to coupons.com.

You have to sign up for an account for the SCR, you can do that through the website. Then you enter in the receipt information it prompts. The SCRs are not tied to any one card, which might be important to you for future deals since you are shopping for different households. The really important thing to remember about the SCR is that you can only request one per month. Once you request the SCR check for the month, you cant enter in information or any more rebates or get another check. I generally wait until after the month is over and I am certain I have entered in all the receipts that have SCR items. The check comes to you about a month after requested usually. You can cash the check at the bank and I believe you may also use it as payment at RA. I havent done that so I dont know the specifics, particularly if you will be given change back from a check used as payment. I just throw them in the bank. HTH!

The SCR is not card specific but there are limits for most deals. The limit for the Clorox deal is 1.

What I meant about the SCR not being linked to a card coming in handy in the future is for example say that there was an Ups deal for Almay, limit 2/ card but there was an overlapping SCR deal for the same product but the limit for the SCR is 6. You could potentially do the deal for Ups on 3 cards but enter in all the receipts into one SCR account. This is a made up example so dont go buying a bunch of Almay and then wondering where your Ups and SCR are.
