I was going to do the Bumble Bee Tuna deal (2/$3 get 1 Up back)
My store only had 2 cans in stock. They looked kinda "iffy" a little dusty.
I saw the tag hanging down so I know someone looked at it when they put the tag there, the date is on the top and bottom of these cans. Anyway, the only 2 cans they had in stock expired nearly a year and a half ago! (JANUARY 2011) I took them to the cashier so they could get them off the shelf. I just thought that was crazy!

Ha, ha. I am surprised that store didnt sell them during Tuna-gate in March 2011. There wasnt a can of tuna to be had for 50 miles around here. Even though it still would have been expired then, you could at least buy as a MMer and then exchange when a new can came in.

Yeah, sometimes it's the same with cereal too. They might put out a display during a sale, but then don't rotate out the shelf stock...on the last Kellogg's deal, I found ones dated Sept 2012...not out of date, but they still must have been there for quite some time!
