RiteAid Coupon Policy:

You are permitted to use a Rite Aid coupon with a manufacturer coupon. I
have include a copy of our Coupon Policy;

All coupons must have a valid expiration date. Manufacturer coupons are
limited to one an item. Rite Aid in-house coupons that begin with RC48 and
RC49 in the barcodes can be used with a manufacturer's coupon. Competitor's
in-house coupons are not honored at any Rite Aid store. Some manufacturers
coupons do not have a specific set price on them - it will be up to what the
item costs or a certain dollar amount and must be written in by cashier.
Internet coupons will only be accepted, if they are Rite Aid coupons printed
from our website.

If you want your own copy of the above email, write to inquiry@riteaid.com and ask for a copy of the RiteAid coupon policy. Carry it with you in your coupon.

This is really GREAt info! Thanks! I'm going to email for a copy myself. I've never had a problem with any of the Rite Aids I've visited but you never know might get a new cashier LOL

I guess what I want to look at in the morning is how many of their coupons that say mfg. coupon start with a rc48 or rc49.They all may do and I've been wondering for some time why these coupons say mfg. coupon anyway.

I always thought it was so you couldn't use another coupon with them and at the same time I never could pinpoint the coupons as being actual mfg. coupons.I'm quite sure they are though because it would seem to me that they would be doing something illegal for them not to be.

I guess when they send the coupons to their redemption center then they have a system that scans their 50 numbers on the coupon in the barcode to get reimbursed from the mfg.
Unlike walgreens who doesn't get any reimbursement for their in-house coupons.

Rite Aid really needs to get with the program and start accepting IP's. They are going to lose alot of business if they don't!

Walgreens does get reimbursed for some of their inhouse Q's. If you look at your receipt after using ES Q's, they all say mfg Q before them. So the ES are mfg reimbursed.
